SBC is continuing to catch up with its sponsors for Betting on Sports America, and in a chat with Covers Media Group, we spoke about the development of the web publishing space in a post-PASPA USA.
General Manager, Mark Harper, told SBC that they will be promoting the covers.com brand at #bosamerica, as well as their new B2B publishing tools.
#bosamerica will take place from the 23-25 April at New Jerseyโs Meadowlands Exposition Center. Some of the industryโs most revered figures will come together to discuss topics such as regulation, marketing and the role of lotteries in the new market.
What are you looking forward to at Betting on Sports America?
Continuing to promote the Covers.com brand in our 25th year of operation and also launching some exciting new B2B products to market.
What are you promoting at Betting on Sports America?
As we’ve been in the web publishing space and servicing sports betting consumers for so many years, we have decided to launch a new set of B2B publishing tools that will help our B2B clients position their web properties as sports betting resource destinations.
What sports betting partnership has stood out in the past 12 months?
There were a host of large media deals that stood out last year. That said, I’d say the NBA / MGM, 3-year data deal last year was the agreement that stood out the most. The deal was a significant agreement for the sports betting industry.
If you could attend one sporting event, what would it be?
I’m from England originally and a huge football (soccer) fan, so I’d love to attend a Champions League final with my hometown club Newcastle playing.
The event is set to host 175 leading industry speakers across 40 sessions, with 60 exhibitors displaying their latest products. For more information, please visit the Betting on Sports America website.
