With Betting On Sports days away, SBC continues catching up with the event sponsors as we sat down with Ofir Rosenzweig, VP Sales & Business Development at Comsec.
He told SBC about Comsec’s newest introduction and discussed the operators which have stood out to him this year.
What are you looking forward to at Betting on Sports?
This year’s summit is exciting for us because we will be presenting (booth I5) for the first time. We will be bringing a team of experts to discuss about some of the more challenging topics that the industry is facing.
For Comsec, Betting on Sport has been identified as the primary gaming industry event to attend in 2019, and we see it as a great opportunity to meet with and learn from industry leaders.
What are you promoting at Betting on Sports?

What industry innovation will capture the most attention in 2019?
Innovation in mobile gaming. Consolidation and integration of more gaming platforms such as sports and gambling into one solution that supports blockchain tokens, will enable a comprehensive gaming experience for the user.
Which sports betting operator has impressed you the most in 2019?
We are impressed by Betsperts which have introduced transparency and a community approach to sport betting through crowdsourcing.
Players can now find and follow other gamblers, that with the platform of Betsports have a way to prove that they are good. It’s a new and innovative approach.
If you could attend one sporting event, what would it be?
Hands down – UEFA Championship final. An event which brings top athletes to the pitch to showcase their skills, combined with an amazing atmosphere, some drama and surprises.
Which parts of the conference agenda have caught your eye?
We’re looking forward to the “Hand in Hand…The future of payments and data” panel. From the perspective of a cyber security services provider we see this as one of the areas of innovation in the gaming industry which will support its growth.
We’re looking forward to learning more about the topic from the perspective of some of the service providers.
