The Esports Insider Super Forum (#ESIForum) is an event focused on the convergence of traditional sports and esports.
It’ll cover issues such as investment in teams and leagues, guidance on where the key opportunities exist and how to go about making the most of them, sponsorship and examples of brands doing well in esports, the situation with media rights and broadcasting, a clear overview of the ecosystem as a whole and its worth, case studies and plenty more.
Having seen a superb response to our ESI Forum Series in 2017 which saw four events held at Fnatic’s Bunkr, this event will be a continuation and expansion of that.
We’ll have six panels and workshops with 25 high calibre speakers, an esports exhibition zone, networking and meeting opportunities throughout each day and into the evenings too with an official closing drinks and after party.
Running alongside the Betting on Football Conference, ESI Super Forum attendees will also gain access to this event with over 1,500 visitors meaning a whole world of football industry stakeholders, including clubs, leagues and more will be on hand, as well as a plethora of bookmakers.
There are now over 150 sports clubs and counting involved in esports in some capacity. The opportunity with esports has been well-documented, but there is still a knowledge gap for sports clubs and other stakeholders as to more in-depth hows and whys of entering. The ways stakeholders in esports and sports can work together are plentiful, and the ESI Super Forum is designed to educate both parties and facilitate such partnerships going forward.
Esports is an industry predicted to be worth close to or beyond $1 billion (sources: Newzoo, Nielsen, Juniper and Ovum) by 2020. Here are the types of companies who will attend the ESI Super Forum:-
|Affiliates & Media Companies||15%|
|Compliance, Law & Regulators||5%|
|Sports Clubs & Organisations||10%|
|CEOs / Chairman / Founder||25%|

Stamford Bridge has been home to Chelsea FC for many years. Opened in 1877, the stadium was used by the London Athletic Club until 1905, when new owner Gus Mears founded Chelsea Football Club to occupy the ground; Chelsea have played their home games there ever since. It has undergone numerous major changes over the years, most recently in the 1990s when it was renovated into a modern, all-seater stadium.
The Millennium and Copthorne Hotels at Chelsea FC are the official hotels for Betting on Football 2017.
