SBC Summit Speed Networking: Meet More of the Right People in Less Time At an event with 40,000 attendees, networking opportunities are everywhere. The challenge is finding the right people and starting productive conversations before three busy days in Lisbon disappear. SBC Summit’s Speed Networking sessions have been designed to make that easier. Taking place in the dedicated SBC Speed Networking Lounge (between Halls 2 & 3), each professionally facilitated session will guide attendees through a series of short one-to-one conversations. In under an hour, delegates can meet dozens of relevant contacts, exchange ideas and identify the relationships worth exploring further at the event. This year’s programme will feature four focused sessions: First Timers Speed Networking – Start your first SBC Summit with a ready-made network of new contacts. AI Speed Networking – Meet professionals implementing AI across betting and gaming and compare practical approaches to adoption. Payments Speed Networking – Connect with leaders working across payments, fintech, compliance and fraud prevention. Next Generation Leaders Speed Networking – Build relationships with emerging decision-makers and companies driving the industry forward. This blog will explore each of our new speed networking features and how they can benefit every attendee, whether you’re new to SBC Summit or looking to further your knowledge on key industry trends. Who Is Eligible to Join Our Networking Events SBC’s range of structured networking events is reserved for the following pass types. Networking Pass (€599) Business Pass (€799) VIP Pass (€999) With that out of the way, let’s explore our speed networking sessions in a little more detail. First Timers Speed Networking Tuesday, 29 September | 10:30–11:30 With 40,000 attendees and a 130,000m² show floor, SBC Summit can feel overwhelming on a first visit. First Timers Speed Networking removes that uncertainty by giving newcomers a structured way to begin building their network on the first day of the event. Rather than working out who to approach on the show floor, attendees will take part in a professionally facilitated series of short one-to-one conversations. In under an hour, they can meet a broad range of industry professionals, build confidence and make connections they can continue developing throughout the event. By attending, you will: Build momentum by making connections early in the event Begin SBC Summit with an established network of contacts Meet other attendees who are motivated to connect and do business AI Speed Networking Wednesday, 30 September | 12:30–13:30 AI has become one of the biggest priorities for businesses, with companies racing to understand where the technology can deliver the greatest impact. iGaming is no different. AI is already being applied across product development, marketing, customer support, compliance and data analysis, while the emergence of AI agents is opening the door to systems that can plan and carry out multi-step tasks with less human input. AI Speed Networking will connect professionals looking to adopt these technologies with the suppliers developing them. Over the course of an hour, attendees can compare different solutions, benchmark approaches, and meet potential partners who can help turn AI ambitions into practical implementation. By attending, you will: Join focused conversations with professionals working on AI across gaming. Share implementation challenges and hear how others are approaching them. Explore different tools, use cases, and approaches to AI adoption. Meet peers and potential technology partners in one dedicated session. Develop a clearer idea of what to consider when assessing AI solutions. Payments Speed Networking Wednesday, 30 September | 16:00–17:00 Payments sit at the heart of every iGaming operation. From the ease of a first deposit to the speed and reliability of withdrawals, the right payment infrastructure can have a massive impact on player experience, retention and market performance. Payments Speed Networking will bring operators together with payment providers, fintech companies and specialists in compliance and fraud prevention. The session will give both sides a focused opportunity to discuss operational needs, compare approaches and explore the challenges shaping payments across different markets. Whether the priority is improving onboarding, reducing payment friction, entering a new jurisdiction or strengthening fraud controls, attendees will meet professionals working on the same issues from both the operator and supplier perspective. By attending, you will: Connect with operators, payment providers and fintech specialists Discuss common challenges around deposits, withdrawals, onboarding and fraud prevention Compare how different businesses approach payment performance across multiple markets Explore potential solutions and partnerships in a dedicated networking environment Next Generation Leaders Speed Networking Thursday, 1 October | 13:00–14:00 Designed for ambitious professionals progressing towards leadership roles, this session offers a fast-paced opportunity to connect with peers at a similar stage in their careers. Attendees can share what they have learned during the week, exchange ideas and discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping their professional development across the gaming industry. Whether you are looking to expand your network, learn from others or build relationships with the industry’s next generation of decision-makers, the session provides a welcoming environment for meaningful one-to-one conversations. By attending, you will: Meet professionals at a similar stage in their careers Share experiences, ideas and key learnings from the week Expand your network beyond your existing contacts Gain insight from emerging leaders across the industry Build relationships that can support future career and collaboration opportunities More Ways to Network at SBC Summit Speed Networking is only one part of SBC Summit’s wider networking programme. Across the three days, attendees can access a range of structured formats designed to make it easier to find relevant contacts, schedule meetings and continue conversations away from the exhibition floor. SBC Connect Meets SBC Connect is now live ahead of September’s show, and it’s one of the most powerful networking tools in an attendee’s arsenal. Smart Connect Smart Connect gives you guaranteed access to pre-qualified buyers through a curated programme of one-to-one meetings arranged by SBC before the event even begins. No chasing introductions. No endless outreach. Our team carefully vets participating operators and matches them with a limited number of suppliers, creating high-quality meetings with the decision-makers who matter most to your business. The result? Your meetings are confirmed before you even step onto the show floor. Suppliers interested in signing up to Smart Connect can do so by talking to the sales team here. Regulatory Gaming Meetups SBC Summit’s Regulatory Gaming Meetups give you direct access to the regulators, legal experts and operators shaping the markets in which you do business. With 21 sessions focused on specific jurisdictions and regions, attendees can discuss regulatory developments, compare market experiences and build relationships with professionals facing the same legal and operational challenges. You can explore the full range of Regulatory Gaming Meetups here. "I always enjoy SBC, I think their panels are really well crafted to be both interesting and informative. I think the panel we did today on Diversity & Inclusion and environment ESG principles as it impacts the industry has a lot of resonance. People are beginning to pay more attention". (SBC Summit North America, 2021)
Jan-Jones Blackhurst, Caesars Entertainment Board Member
"We found it to be great for us and then so many people to interact with and network with. And this has been the most important thing for us to come here, show ourselves - what we do and meet and greet with people".
Bjorn Krantz, CEO, Yggdrasil Gaming Ltd
"Part of this week has been educational, and it's the 'what are other people doing?', 'what are we missing?', 'what do we need to be doing?' It's nice that SBC can bring together these figureheads and stakeholders to actually say: 'this is how we do it,' and you can learn from that. And it's an industry where you can only learn if you share ideas." (Betting on Sports Europe, 2021)
Elliott Banks, UK Regional Director for B2B operations, Betconstruct
"This is a great event, great conference. You've got a lot of people coming from all over the world to learn what is the state of the art of the industry and it's a great venue to network with colleagues". (SBC Summit North America)
Ezra Kucharz, Chief Business Officer, DraftKings
"I always think there are 2 sides to SBC, 1 is the education sessions, going to some of the panels - but also just to network as well to look for new opportunities. So yes, very excited to be here!" (SBC Summit Barcelona 2021)
Will Whitehead, Commercial Director, mkodo
