Digitain: Casino games have come on ‘leaps and bounds’ in the last year

The postponement of live sporting events in 2020 has fuelled innovation within the casino space, explained Aluwani Mukhudwana – Regional Sales Director for Digitain – allowing the casino sector to grow ‘leaps and bounds’.

What are you looking forward to at SBC Digital – Africa 2021?

Getting to know more people from the industry, building brand awareness, signing new prospective partnerships and maintaining long term relationships.

What are your predictions for the gaming industry in 2021?

2021 will see rapid growth in the online space (mobile); we shall see numerous land-based operators transitioning or developing their online presence.

What are you promoting at SBC Digital – Africa 2021?

We are promoting our award winning Turnkey Solutions with main products being Sportsbook, Casino and our In-house Games.

Our Sportsbook Software – This product is available with our Turnkey Platform as well as Iframe API or Bespoke API allowing for flexibility and localization.

We are also promoting Casino Games Aggregator & Digitain’s Inhouse Games – This product provides all casino content integrated into a single Casino lobby, including options to customize the operator’s look and feel. And with the same integration channel, we can also deliver in-house games of our own development.

What industry innovation will capture the most attention in 2021?

Casino Games – These products have grown in leaps and bounds, propelled by the stopping due to the stopping of live sports during the pandemic; this has fueled innovation of new games from the likes of Betgames and many other providers.

Which operator has impressed you the most over the last 12 months?

Betking has to be the most impressive operator over the last 12 months; they bagged an $ 88 million investment, which will surely propel them to unimaginable heights.

What partnership has stood out in the past 12 months?

Once again this has to be Betking (Nigerian online and retail sports betting operator) DSTV ( DSTV a Sub-Saharan African direct broadcast satellite channel provider).

Which parts of the conference agenda have caught your eye?

Ghana: Africa’s next big market – This topic has caught my attention due the country’s move towards a cashless society, this will fuel the adoption of online gambling with mobile money.
