SBC EVENT COVID SAFETY PLAN

The well being of the community we support is the most important aspect of any SBC Event. 

We work in partnership with our venues and suppliers so that we can continue to organise the leading events in the gaming and betting industry. 

The purpose of this plan is to ensure that we provide the best experience while creating a safe and secure event environment for all our stakeholders. 

This 5 point plan covers the key areas and outlines the measures and controls we will use at our future events.

1. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)
   • Government guidelines will be followed at all times.
   • SBC will make available preventions like:
   – Face masks
   – Disposable tissues
   – Disinfectant gel

2. PHYSICAL DISTANCING/ SOCIAL DISTANCING
• SBC will work with our venues to introduce crowd control measures so attendees feel safe and comfortable at all times and importantly still enjoy the event.• Measure including: Floor markings to indicate space regulations in areas where queues might form:
– In the entrance and registration area
– Catering Areas
– Outside conference rooms
– Toilets & washrooms
– Feature Areas
• Extra Space between booths so even at busy times it is easy to manage physical distancing
• Conference room layouts that allow for physical distancing
– Leaving gaps in seating
– Chequerboard seating
• Larger Stages to allow speakers to distance themselves
• Eliminating handshakes
• Extensive signage to reinforce physical distance measures

3. ACCESS CONTROL AND HEALTH SCREENING
• 95% of Attendees to SBC Events Pre Register we know how many people will attend ahead of the event which allows us to put in place adequate measures and controls
• Combined attendee badge scan and temperature checks at event entrance
• Implement print your own name badge to lessen physical contact

4. SANITATION AND ENVIRONMENT
• Hand Sanitiser Stations positioned in key locations throughout the event with regular use encouraged to all attendees
• Enhanced cleaning regime focussing on key touch points like
– Catering areas
– Feature areas
– Conference rooms
– Toilets and Washroom
• Increased Exhibitor Stand cleaning
– Disinfectant provided for exhibitors to clean their stands and exhibits.
• Increased frequency for the collection and removal of waste bins

5. FOOD AND BEVERAGE
• Food will be served in packaged in closed containers  – cool bento box style catering (not that different to what we try to do already)
• Seating and Networking areas will be set up to allow physical distancing
