SEON Technologies – Operators are facing new challenges in the payments industry

This year’s Betting on Football will see the launch of the first PaymentExpert Forum, which will be discussing the relationships between the payment and sports betting industries.

In a chat with Tamas Kadar, the CEO of SEON Technologies who are sponsoring this year’s event – he spoke to SBC about how he is looking forward to attending the forum to gather further insight on newly developed payment strategies across the industry.

What are you looking forward to at Betting on Football?

We look forward to meeting some of our existing partners and potentially some new ones. The agenda seems very interesting and we are keen to learn about payment and fraud challenges operators face in the online betting industry.

What are you promoting at Betting on Football?

We offer a fraud prevention platform to operators to reduce risk related to bonus abuse, multi accounting customers and charge backs. Our solution is based on data enrichment and machine learning. All this in a frictionless way to improve our clients bottom line.

What industry innovation will capture the most attention in 2019?

New wave sportsbook and B2B technology solutions seem to be very promising in the upcoming year, which could help operators to open up to new markets and grow.

Do you expect speed of innovation to slow in the absence of a major football tournament?

No, definitely not, major football tournaments and other events fuel innovations and enhance customer experience.

How can betting and football stakeholders work together more effectively?

To start new ventures. A more transparent communication could be effective between the two parties to help grow both industry.

Which parts of the conference agenda have caught your eye?

PaymentExpert forum seems really interesting for us, hopefully we can gather some useful insights about major challenges operators face.

The sixth edition of #bofcon will be held at Stamford Bridge from the 19-22 March. The international sports betting trade event will feature 2,000 senior and c-level executives from across the sports betting industry, 200 of which will be taking part in panel discussions across 40 different conference sessions
