Arubexpay – AI pattern recognition set to take off

The road to SBC’s Betting on Sports continues, and with exactly three weeks to go, we caught up with event sponsor Arubexpay.

We sat down with their co-founder, Manpreet Haer, who told SBC about Arubexpay’s bitcoin payment acceptance and their payment solutions for South Asian Markets.

#boscon, held 17-20 September at Olympia London, is the world’s leading sports betting industry event, with this year’s conference set to boast 300 leading industry speakers across 50 sessions, with 120 exhibitors displaying their latest products.

What are you looking forward to at Betting on Sports?

Arubexpay is looking forward to networking and meeting operators interested in innovative payment solutions for emerging markets. Industry events such as these are a “must attend” for serious players in the industry especially in terms of innovations and growth. Our goal is to showcase our industry leading solutions to ensure our operator and PSP clients get the most from the event and our attendance.

What are you promoting at Betting on Sports?

Arubexpay is looking to promote bitcoin payment acceptance for operators and offer innovative payment solutions for the South Asian markets. Arubexpay’s key differences are its ability to offer bitcoin payment acceptance, without the typical time lag associated with blockchain confirmation.

Arubexpay has a 20 strong back-office, covering risk, compliance and customer services in the Philippines. Our 17 person software development team is based in India. Arubexpay’s entire business is client centric and we ensure nothing less than excellence in our product and solutions.

What industry innovation will capture the most attention in 2019?

We believe Artificial Intelligence pattern recognition for sportsbooks, via machine learning will start to take off in 2019, along with leading edge payments platforms such as ours, spearheading the way in innovation, allowing operators access to previously untapped markets.

Which sports betting operator has impressed you the most in 2019?

Dafabet with its recent signing of Shane Warne as cricket sports representative and brand ambassador is indicative of their commitment to the next sports growth market. Also, as always, the ubiquitous Bet365 is still leading the way.

What sports betting partnership has stood out in the past 12 months?

The recent news of a partnership formed between FOX Sports and The Stars Group launching a new joint venture called FOX Bet will be an interesting one to watch.

If you could attend one sporting event, what would it be?

I would have attended the recent Liverpool v Tottenham Champions league final and that would have been a great one, especially being an avid Liverpool supporter! Historically speaking I would have loved to have been at the Hagler v Hearns boxing match in 1985. Only problem is I was only 1 years old then!

Which parts of the conference agenda have caught your eye?

Very interested in the agenda surrounding events in the regulated Indian market and am keenly looking forward to the talks there.

Delegates will be treated to world-class hospitality with plenty of business and networking opportunities at some of London’s most iconic venues including the Natural History Museum. For more information about the event, please visit the Betting on Sports website.
