Sports Betting Community (SBC), the organiser of Betting on Football, Betting on Sports America, Betting on Sports and CasinoBeats Summit, has strengthened its conference team with the appointment of Ana-Luiza Olanescu as Head of Conference Production and Content.
Olanescu joins SBC’s London office from Informa, where as Editor in Chief she was responsible for content at four international conferences in the financial services industry.
Working with SBC Managing Director Andrew McCarron, her first major project will be firming up the agenda for SBC’s inaugural US event Betting on Sports America on 23-25 April.
McCarron commented: “Ana has hit the ground running at SBC and she will be a huge asset to us as we continue to drive forward discussions around key industry topics at our events. With Betting on Football coming up in March, followed by Betting on Sports America in April, she will be a key member of the team in a very short period of time.”
Olanescu added: “Joining SBC is a very exciting opportunity for me and one that will keep me on my toes. Looking back at the standard of conferences the company has put on in the past is inspiring and challenging at the same time. I’m looking forward to meeting all the key players in the market this year.”
Olanescu will be representing SBC at next month’s ICE London exhibition at SBC’s new stand position – S3-206 – and at SBC’s 10 year anniversary celebration at the London Baby networking party.
