EGT Digital: SBC Summit Rio is one of the largest and most important shows in the market

Ahead of SBC Summit Rio, we sat down with Celina Guedes, Regional Director Brazil at EGT, and EGT Digital, a gold headline sponsor of the event.

What elements of SBC Summit Rio work so well for your organisation, and why is it important for you to be there this year?

SBC Summit Rio is one of the largest and most important shows in the market. It is essential for us to participate in it, as it gives us the opportunity to meet with operators, regulators and industry experts and to present our rich portfolio of solutions for the gaming sector.

During this year’s edition of the exhibition, we will mainly focus on further promoting our brand in Brazil. I am confident that thanks to our comprehensive 360° approach in developing products that support the different key players in the ecosystem, our company will be able to respond to the demands of the local audience and will quickly take its place among the leading providers in the country.

What’s your key objective at this year’s event and what are the main products/services you’ll be promoting?

The main goal that we want to achieve with our participation in SBC Summit Rio 2025 is to reach as many operators in the regulated market as possible and show them how we can contribute to the growth and prosperity of their business with our high-quality gaming solutions, developed according to the specific tastes and requirements of their customers.

Guests at our booth will be able to get acquainted with EGT Digital’s vast array of casino offerings containing over 120 in-house developed slot games, featuring different themes and numerous attractive bonuses, as well as several top jackpots.

On display will also be our iGaming platform X-Nave, which provides operators with all the tools and technology they need to build and maintain a successful online business. The platform consists of 4 main modules: Sport Product, Gaming Aggregator, CRM Engine, and Payment Gateway, each of which can be part of the turnkey solution or function independently, allowing seamless integration with developments of third-party providers.

What would you highlight as the biggest opportunity in the betting and gaming industry over the next couple of years?

We believe that both our X-Nave platform and our VLT terminals and system have enormous potential for the Brazilian market and we will witness their penetration in the country in the coming years.

Standing out with great flexibility and adaptability, these products are capable of offering personalized solutions, perfectly adjustable to the legal requirements in each state of Brazil.

What elements of your business do you feel are best placed to take advantage of that opportunity?

Among the main components of our business, which have brought us success in over 100 markets worldwide and which I believe will help us to do the same here in Brazil, I would put on first place our highly-advanced products. They follow the latest technological trends, and often even create them.

Adding to this our extensive experience with CRM and our customer-centered approach, I think that we have everything needed to become one of the preferred gaming providers in this newly opened regulated market.

What areas of the business should we be looking to for innovation in the next 12 months?

I believe that future belongs to products that can deliver the most engaging experience possible. That is why in the next 12 months and beyond, the ability to create versatile gaming solutions that offer a high degree of customization will be of utmost importance for every supplier.

I dare say that our iGaming platform, as well as the rest of the products in our portfolio, are just that. They provide a wide range of options allowing personalization according to users’ individual requirements, and we are constantly developing and improving them, adding new functionalities.

What new technology do you feel will have the biggest impact for stakeholders?

First and foremost is the application of AI in new products and more specifically its important role in collecting data on player preferences and behavior, based on which increasingly customized solutions are developed.

The focus on CRM and enriching the player journey are also essential for operators who want to give their customers the best gaming experience.

Of course, we should always have in mind the legal aspect of things. All innovations must be in strict accordance with the regulatory requirements.

What core challenges do you help solve for your customers/partners?

Our company has always been close to its customers and partners. This is a strategy that we continue to apply to this day for every new market we enter. We rely on active communication with the operators and over the years we have repeatedly proven that this is the key to long-term success.

We intend to act in the same way in Brazil and I am confident that the positive results will not be long in coming.

Who have you especially enjoyed working with over the past year (partner/client) and why?

Being part of a large company with a 23-year history and a solid international presence like EGT gives us the advantage of working in an environment where the brand is already well-known and established in many markets.

This allows us to amplify our knowledge and better understand the challenges that the dynamically changing gaming industry faces us every day. In this way, we can fufill our customers’ needs in the best way.

What are you hoping to learn from the conference at SBC Summit Rio and which elements of the agenda will you be focusing on the most?

I believe that by attending the conference at the SBC Summit Rio we will be able to gain valuable insights into the gaming sector as a whole, as well as the Brazilian market and the Carioca public in particular.

For EGT it is important to keep on penetrating Brazilian territory, its different markets and sharing experiences with suppliers and operators from the industry and I am confident that the event will provide us with an excellent opportunity to achieve our goals.
