The inaugural SBC Digital Summit offers the opportunity for industry professionals to come together and network, listen to panel sessions and do business in a virtual setting. Ahead of the event, we have been chatting to the event sponsors to find out what they are most looking forward to at the Digital Summit.
Dmitry Starostenkov, CEO of EvenBet Gaming, told SBC that he is most looking forward to the interactive elements of the exhibition and that they will be promoting their online poker platform.
What are you looking forward to at the SBC Digital Summit?
I am very excited to be a part of this event, I believe the first online conference in iGaming of such scale and level. We have not all the usual opportunities to talk, network, and do business but even more due to new interactive elements at the exhibition allowing the interested visitors to get instant access to demos, presentations or any company representative attending. Looking forward to seeing the communication in the industry getting to a new level!
What would be your biggest bit of advice for betting and gaming businesses trying to mitigate the impact of COVID-19?
Obviously, COVID-19 is here to stay, and in order to survive, we all need to adapt, and adapt fast. The more flexible are the mindsets and the more diverse the offerings, the less would be the pandemic impact on given business.
For example, many online sports betting operators have already found out that poker may become one of the key products to keep the audience engaged and the revenue flowing while big sport is paused. And we suggest that it is vital to keep looking for the new channels to interact with your audience.
What are you promoting at SBC Digital Summit?
At the Exhibition Hall, EvenBet Gaming will present its online poker platform and a variety of gaming solutions based on it: network and standalone poker projects, club poker, integration into third-party gaming systems, and more.
We would be happy to show how our poker software may help online casino and sports betting operators increase users LTV and revenue, enhance product offering, and create additional revenue.
What industry innovation will capture the most attention in 2020?
I’m pretty sure we will see the increase in demand for live gaming and video streaming based solutions, especially in player to player gaming.
Which operator has impressed you the most in 2020?
I would name LeoVegas for a decision to focus on online casino and extending its casino-related partnerships with such companies as Pragmatic Play before the COVID-19 outbreak due to the audience preferences. It was a wise strategic decision, showing that not all forms of diversification are worth operator’s investments.
What sports betting partnership has stood out in the past 12 months?
It isn’t an easy question indeed with the whole sports betting in crisis. For now, I admire literally every operator that manages to keep the business going and the players playing. Personally, I closely watch a few companies including 1XBet and DraftKings.
Which parts of the conference agenda have caught your eye?
All Leadership in Gaming track promises to be super-useful and insightful, as it focuses on the most actual industry problems and their potential solutions. Besides that, a discussion on regulation in Latam markets, as we are currently actively develop our own poker network in the region, and are always eager to know more about further steps towards regulation there.
