Sports will make a return, but it may take some more time explained Björn Nilsson, CEO and Co-Founder of Triggy AB, who advised betting and gaming companies to remain focused on their products.
Speaking to Björn Nilsson ahead of next week’s SBC Digital Summit North America, he explained that he’s most looking forward to the panel sessions and the chance to meet new customers.
What are you looking forward to at the SBC Digital Summit North America?
I’m really looking forward to listening to Jay Snowden; several of the panels also look very promising; the legal updates are always good too. Most of all though, I’m looking for new customers.
What would be your biggest bit of advice for betting and gaming businesses trying to mitigate the impact of COVID-19?
Stay focused on the product. Sports will return as before although it may take some more time.
What are you promoting at SBC Digital Summit North America?
Triggy has been a “soccer only” live score product until now. We are just about to complete the football version and we have started working on basketball too. Live score apps is something we in Europe all know of as a driving factor for in-play betting.
Everyone has one or more on their phones. We build white labeled, betting focused live score products for operators and all operators should have one. It is a great way to build your brand, acquire new players and to engage your existing ones.
What industry innovation will capture the most attention in 2020?
Virtual Sports.
Which operator has impressed you the most in 2020?
DraftKings.
What partnership has stood out in the past 12 months?
Sportradar securing the official data rights to all the 4 major US sports really stands out to me.
Which parts of the conference agenda have caught your eye?
There are lots of interesting speakers and panels but I’m mostly looking forwards to listening to Jay Snowden and Ezra Kurcharz.
