The SBC Awards North America recognize the achievements of operators, affiliates and suppliers from all the major disciplines including payments, marketing, platform providers and data. With 600 guests attending the event, the third edition of SBC Awards North America will celebrate the companies surviving and thriving in 2023. As always you can expect a night to remember as we have ensured that there will be plenty of fun and networking opportunities throughout the evening.

Sportsbook of the Year

This award recognizes the best overall sportsbook operator of 2023. The category will be awarded to the operator that has been the most innovative and successful in its activities in the last 12 months.

Particular emphasis will be placed on growth, new market penetration, quality, differentiation of operations and strength of the brand.

This award recognizes the best overall casino operator of 2023. The category will be awarded to the operator that has been the most innovative and successful in its activities in the last 12 months.

Particular emphasis will be placed on growth, new market penetration, marketing, quality, differentiation of operations and strength of the brand.

Socially Responsible Operator of the Year

This award is created to recognize achievements in the battle against problem gambling. The category will be awarded to the operator that has been the most proactive and successful in its socially responsible activities in the last 12 months.

Particular emphasis will be placed on training, awareness campaigns and fundraising.

Rising Star of the Year

This award has been created to recognize the most impressive emerging company in the sports betting and gaming sector in 2023. The category will be awarded to the company that has emerged most successfully as a new player in the industry over the last three years.

Particular emphasis will be placed on growth, new market penetration and improvements in brand awareness and brand recognition.

Marketing Campaign & Sponsorship of the Year

This award recognizes the company(ies) behind the most innovative, intelligent and creative Marketing Campaign &/or the best Sponsorship of 2023. The award is open to an operator/affiliate or an agency working on behalf of an operator/affiliate. The sponsorship can be across leagues, clubs, individuals, ambassadors or TV sponsorships.

Particular emphasis will be placed on the campaign’s creativity, success and originality and on the sponsorship deal’s scale, activation, differentiation, commercial success and innovation.

Social Gaming Operator of the Year

This award recognizes the best social gaming operator of 2023. The category will be awarded to the operator that has been the most innovative and successful in its social gaming activities in the last 12 months.

Particular emphasis will be placed on brand strength, market penetration, communication and overall quality of product and brand.

Tribal Gaming Operator of the Year

This gaming operator must be Tribal specific and not operate any commercial casinos. Will be based on revenue growth year over year, expansion and/or renovation, and an operating Sportsbook.

Tribal Regulator of the Year

The regulator must have been working for a Tribal gaming commission/regulatory agency in 2022. They have been instrumental in writing regulations/policies relating to sports betting, iGaming, esports, digital wallets, crypto, metaverse, and/or the use of new technology.

Tribal Leader of the Year

This individual leader has shown exemplary decision making to progress their casino property. From the addition of new amenities into the brick and mortar to preparing for the next wave of technology. This leader is paving the way for others to thrive in the ever changing casino gaming environment.

Sports Affiliate of the Year

This award recognizes the best overall sports affiliate of 2023.

The category will be awarded to the affiliate that has been the most innovative and successful in its activities in the last 12 months. Particular emphasis will be placed on quality and scale of traffic generated, overall growth, differentiation and innovation.

Casino Affiliate of the Year

This award recognises the best overall casino affiliate of 2023.

Sports Media Company of the Year

This award recognizes the best overall sports media company of 2023.

The category will be awarded to the sports media company that has been the most innovative and successful in its activities in the last 12 months. Particular emphasis will be placed on brand strength, growth, differentiation of content and innovation.

Acquisition & Retention Partner

This award has been created to recognize the company providing the best possible activation and CRM services that enable operators to know their customers and respond to their needs the best.

Particular emphasis will be placed on the robustness, connectivity, analytical prowess, commercial success, and flexibility.

Sportsbook Supplier of the Year

This award has been created to recognize the company providing the best sportsbook product in 2023.

Particular emphasis will be placed on the creativity, differentiation, commercial success and impact of the innovation.

Casino Supplier of the Year

This award has been created to recognize the best Casino supplier of 2023.

Particular emphasis will be placed on new concepts brought to the live casino sector in the last 12 months.

Lottery Supplier of the Year

This award has been created to recognise the company providing the best lottery product in 2023.

Particular emphasis will be placed on the creativity, differentiation, commercial success and impact of the innovation.

Platform Provider of the Year

This award has been created to recognize the best standalone platform provider of 2023, servicing the sports betting industry.

Candidates should be as candid as possible in sharing KPIs and metrics without breaching any data. Particular emphasis will be placed on the success, stability, flexibility and geographical reach.

Rising Star in Sports Betting

This award has been created to recognize the new company or companies behind the best innovation in sports betting software and services in 2023.

Particular emphasis will be placed on the creativity, differentiation, commercial success and impact of the innovation.

This award has been created to recognise the company supplying the best live betting and gaming product in 2023.

Land-Based Betting & Gaming Product

This award has been created to recognize the company behind the best Land-Based betting &/or Gaming product of 2023. This can be anything from machines to displays to screen systems – anything that adds to the bottom line in a retail environment. This can also include any product that has made a significant difference to the gaming floor or player experience including table games, gaming machines, displays or other technology.

Particular emphasis will be placed on the customer engagement, differentiation, commercial success and impact.

Marketing & Services Provider of the Year

This award has been created to recognize the outstanding service provider.

Particular emphasis will be placed upon a combination of innovative products, services and support. The Best Service Provider will be a company that has helped its customers to meet their objectives and demonstrated outstanding customer service.

Industry Innovation of the Year

This award has been created to celebrate the company who has provided the outstanding innovation of the year which has or has the potential to make a significant change to the sports betting or casino industries.

Player Protection Service Provider of the Year

This award has been created to recognize achievements in the battle against problem gambling.

The award will be presented to the company providing the most outstanding Socially Responsible service to the gaming industry in 2023. Particular emphasis will be placed on harm prevention, partnerships and innovation.

HOW TO ENTER

Entry Deadline – Friday March 3, 2023

Individuals or organizations may self-nominate or nominate another organization.

Register or login by clicking the NOMINATE button. Once registered or logged in, please select the category you would like to enter from the list of categories on the Awards platform and click ‘Enter now’.

Complete the online entry form and upload any supporting material. You will need to complete all the required fields before you can submit your entry. Alternatively, you can save your entry and login and complete it at a later date. Once you have submitted or saved your nomination you can choose to start another nomination.

Entries may be edited up until the point of submission; all submissions must be made by Friday, March 3, 2023. Please note only submitted entries will proceed to the judging stage.

Entering the awards remains free of charge for all categories, however, if shortlisted, you will be required to purchase a minimum of one ticket at full list price. Multiple shortlist entries only requires one ticket purchase.
