Located just 11 km from Malta International Airport (MLA), the InterContinental Malta offers swift and seamless connectivity to St. Julian’s via Regional Road, typically taking 15–20 minutes by car. Guests can choose from private transfers, taxis, or ride-hailing services for a comfortable arrival experience.
Public Transport
Malta does not have a train or metro system. The island’s public transport network is operated by Malta Public Transport, offering an extensive bus service that connects most towns and tourist areas. Tickets can be purchased directly from the driver, at ticket machines, or via the Tallinja app, which also provides real-time route updates.
Taxis & Ride-Hailing Services
Taxis and ride-hailing apps such as Uber, Bolt, and eCabs are widely available and reasonably priced throughout Malta. At Malta International Airport, the taxi rank is located directly outside the Arrivals Hall, while scheduled ride pick-ups are in the outdoor car park on Level -1.

When and where will SBC Summit Malta 2026 be held?
SBC Summit Malta 2026 will take place from 28–30 April at the InterContinental Hotel, Malta. Aside from the conference and the exhibition, each evening, attendees can enjoy exclusive networking parties hosted at some of the island’s best entertainment venues. Access is granted to VIP Event Pass, Operator Pass, Affiliate Pass, Exhibitor Pass, and Sponsor Pass holders.
What are the opening hours of the venue?
Tuesday, 28 April
Exhibitors can access the venue from 12:00 to 20:00 to check or prepare their stands.
Attendees are welcome to collect their badges from 12:00 to 17:00 to avoid queues on opening day.

What's the difference between the pass types?
VIP Event Pass (€600): Our most comprehensive and most popular pass for the full SBC event experience. It includes:

We’ve partnered with our event venue, the Intercontinental Hotel, to offer exclusive discounted rates for all SBC Summit Malta attendees.
As the event takes place directly at the hotel, you’ll be just seconds away from the conference and exhibition floor — meaning no daily travel, a few extra minutes of rest in the morning, and the convenience of heading back to your room whenever you need to recharge.

How and when can I collect my badge?
You can collect your badge ahead of the main event at the Intercontinental Hotel from 12:00 to 17:00 on Tuesday, the 28th of April.
Additionally, VIP Event Pass, Operator Pass, Affiliate Pass, Exhibitor Pass, and Sponsor Pass holders will be able to collect their badge at the Opening Party on the evening of Tuesday, 28th April.
While early badge collection is encouraged, you can of course collect your badge on the day of the event at the registration desks.
Digital Wallet Option: You can add your event pass to your phone’s digital wallet and scan it at our registration desks to speed up entry.
How can I identify specific types of attendees onsite?
Our badges are colour-coded to help you easily identify attendees’ company types and connect with the right people.
Here’s what each colour represents:

Are there any restrictions on attendance?
Our events are strictly for over 18s.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes, is not permitted in the venue at any time, in accordance with legislation. External smoking areas are provided. If you are a smoker, please consider others and use only the designated areas.
If I can no longer attend, can I transfer my ticket?
If you are unable to attend the event, we welcome substitute delegates attending in your place at no additional cost.
For security reasons, all requests for substitutions must be received via email at least 24 hours before the event with the name, job title and contact email for both the registered and replacement delegates to [email protected].
What Is the Refund or Cancellation Policy?
You can request a refund up to 14 working days before the event for any paid passes.
Cancellations after that date are non-refundable.
A small processing fee (up to 3%) may apply to approved refunds.

How do I attend the SBC Awards Europe?
The SBC Awards Europe is a separately ticketed gala dinner and awards ceremony taking place on the evening of Thursday, 30th April. The event celebrates the standout achievements across the iGaming industry.
How to Secure Your Spot:
VIP, Premium, and Standard Tables: Each table seats 10 guests and includes a red-carpet reception, a three-course dinner, drinks (champagne on arrival, plus wine, beer, and spirits), and branded table signage. Premium and VIP tables come with better positioning and added perks during the reception.
Individual Tickets: Ideal for solo attendees, this ticket includes the full dining and drinks package.
