Play’n GO – Growing the sector with new games and formats

With Casino Beats Summit 2019 almost only four weeks away, SBC has begun catching up with the event sponsors as the buildup to CBS begins.

The first stop on the road to London saw us sit down with Play’n GO Sales Manager, Giovanni Ferraro, as he explained that he’s looking forward to hearing from an array of industry experts and meeting industry colleagues during the event.

What are you looking forward to at CasinoBeats Summit?
It’s all about meeting people. Clients, both present and future, industry colleagues and contacts within the industry. It’s also a great forum to hear leaders in our industry share their thoughts and opinions on the current issues.

What are you promoting at CasinoBeats Summit?
Our ability to deliver first-class entertainment, and revenue growth, to our partners through our high-quality slot gaming content. We’re proven leaders in this industry, and if people want to progress, then we’re the people they should be looking to work with.

What industry innovation will capture the most attention in 2019?
Not exactly an innovation but a growing sector. The eSports trend is gathering pace and publicity; its audience size has doubled to over a billion people in the last year, so it’s definitely going to have an impact on the industry. On our side, we have our new mini-games and new game formats, such as with our summer release Wild Rails.

Which casino operator has impressed you the most in 2019?
I wouldn’t say any one brand in particular but, I do think that GVC has been a solid performer despite the adversity across some of their brands and channels.

What casino partnership has stood out in the past 12 months?
For me, Casino Operator Paf becoming the Technical Partner for Grand Casino Luzern in the newly regulated Swiss Market is one that stood out.

If you could attend one sporting event, what would it be?
Definitely the Wimbledon Men’s Final! So, if you’ve got any tickets going spare, then you know who to come to!

Which parts of the conference agenda have caught your eye?
‘The search for innovation in gaming’ session along with the Future in Focus and Emerging Markets tracks

The CasinoBeats Summit is running alongside the wider Betting on Sports Week, which takes place from 17 – 20 September at Olympia London.

The conference boasts 75 leading industry speakers across over 25 sessions, with 30 exhibitors displaying their latest products.
