Next week, on March 2 and 3, SBC Digital will hold its latest conference on gaming in Latin America. The SBC Digital Latinoamérica 2021 follows a successful first edition held last year and is going to offer even more opportunities to address the industry and new opportunities that are coming, directly from the best industry experts and leaders. LatAm’s leading sports gambling and iGaming operator, Betcris, will be a primary participant in the event, with CEO JD Duarte participating in the two-day conference.
The first day of this year’s SBC Digital Latinoamérica 2021 conference will focus on the LatAm market as a whole and will primarily be conducted in Spanish. The second day is designed to focus on Brazil, with most sessions being led in Portuguese. On both days, the entire gaming industry as it pertains to LatAm will be addressed, including sessions on sports gambling, online casinos, mergers and acquisitions, alternative verticals, payments and more.
There are over 2,800 industry delegates participating in the event, with 60 leaders scheduled to provide insight into how the LatAm gaming industry has met the challenges of the global COVID-19 pandemic, as well as what is coming. Although the pandemic caused a lot of difficulty for gaming operators around the world, the industry has come together to continue innovating and to develop a collaborative solution to lead steady and compliant growth.
Betcris, under Duarte’s guidance, has been a pioneer for the LatAm gaming industry. Duarte will participate in an exclusive panel with other members of SBC Leaders, of which Betcris was one of the first members. The panel will focus on the high-level challenges that local operators and international stakeholders serving the LatAm gaming industry are facing in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Alongside Duarte, Betsson Group Managing Partner for Brazil Andre Gelfi and Rush Street Gaming President Richard Schwartz will also participate, with Asia Gaming Brief co-founder Rosalind Wade serving as moderator. The panel will be held on Day 1 from 9:00 AM to 9:40 AM, Central Standard Time.
