Ahead of the upcoming SBC Summit Malta 2025, we sat down with Gor Mnatsakanyan, Executive Director, Malta /Regional Director Germany at BetConstruct, a gold headline sponsor of the event.
What elements of SBC Summit Malta work so well for your organisation, and why is it important for you to be there this year?

As a global technology and service provider, we at BetConstruct value the opportunity to not just exhibit our solutions, but connect with partners, regulators, and innovators in a single space.
This year’s SBC Summit Malta aligns perfectly with our strategy as both a solutions provider and thought leader. It’s important for us to be present this year as the industry continues to evolve. We’re committed to shaping that evolution in collaboration with our peers.
What’s your key objective at this year’s event and what are the main products/services you’ll be promoting?
Our key objective is showcasing how BetConstruct is future-proofing operators in a landscape that transforms at rapid rates. We’ll highlight our full suite of products, from our award-winning Sportsbook and Casino offerings to our cutting-edge promotional tools, AI-driven solutions, and crypto-ready platforms. As always, we’re excited to spotlight our new products and tools like Trebuchet, YoPhone, The Last Battle B2C, and The Last Battle Universe, the first iGaming B2B loyalty system. On top of all of this, we’re keen to explore new partnerships and strengthen existing ones.
What would you highlight as the biggest opportunity in the betting and gaming industry over the next couple of years?
The biggest opportunities happen at the meeting point of personalization, decentralization and gamification. Players are after tailored experiences and greater control, Solutions that empower them through AI, blockchain, and custom content are poised to lead. Markets like LatAm and Africa also offer massive potential due to their mobile-first populations and evolving regulatory frameworks.
What elements of your business do you feel are best placed to take advantage of that opportunity?
Our technology stack is flexible and modular. Pairing this with our expertise in localisation and compliance positions us strongly. We’re also invested in AI personalization tools, crypto integrations, and live data solutions. This gives our partners a competitive edge in emerging and maturing markets alike. Morever, our White Label and Turnkey offerings allow partners to scale efficiently while retaining operational agility.
What areas of the business should we be looking to for innovation in the next 12 months?
We’re heavily focused on AI-led innovation, especially in player engagement, fraud detection, and smart CRM systems. Another aspect on our radar is the convergence of gaming and entertainment. This includes gamified betting experiences and enhanced streaming solutions. We’re also pioneering tools that give operators more control over UX/UI customization without deep tech involvement.
What new technology do you feel will have the biggest impact for stakeholders?
Our sights are set on blockchain and AI. Blockchain ensures transparency, enhances trust, and simplifies payments. All of this is crucial for both players and regulators. On the other hand, AI offers real-time personalization, predictive analytics, and operational automation. All of this drives both customer satisfaction and business efficiency.
What core challenges do you help solve for your customers/partners?
We simplify complexity and help operators tackle key challenges such as regulatory compliance, multi-jurisdiction deployment, scalability, and retention. The full spectrum of services we offer, from technology to risk management and marketing support, helps our partners focus on what they do best: growing their brand.
Who have you especially enjoyed working with over the past year (partner/client) and why?
Over the past year, we’ve especially enjoyed working with partners who bring a clear vision and a bold, entrepreneurial mindset to the table. Collaborating with them is rewarding, because not only are they ambitious, but are also open to innovation and fast decision-making.
What stands out most are the relationships where there’s mutual trust, transparent communication, and a shared drive to challenge conventional models. These kinds of collaborations create an environment where great ideas can scale quickly and real value is created for the end user. At the end of the day, that’s what makes our work so fulfilling.
What are you hoping to learn from the conference at SBC Summit Malta and which elements of the agenda will you be focusing on the most?
We’re eager to dive into discussions around regulatory evolution, particularly in newly opening markets. ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) strategy, tech adoption, next-gen player behavior, and blockchain technologies are also topics we’re interested in exploring further. Above all, we’re looking to connect with forward-thinking partners and leave Malta with new ideas, stronger relationships, and momentum for what’s next.
