How is your partnership with Betcris developing?
Hilly, Louis, Anam, the guys at Betcris, all friends, and they just thought who’s popular in China, who can we get hold of? And they come up with Ronnie O’Sullivan. So I think that’s where it started. Since then I’ve had such a great relationship with the guys we’ve become like family. So everyone’s business is over and I’m long retired and whatever, they’re still like family and friends. So it’s really good to be working with Betcris, they’re fantastic supporters for me.
You are new to the industry. What did you learn by just being here today?
You know, snooker’s a great sport to bet on. There’s a lot can go on within a game of snooker. Like a guy Kevin in there was saying about the algorithms. So I learned a lot today, so I can see why snooker would be a massive interest for betting companies and stuff like that.
What can you say about Betting on Sports 2018?
Literally it’s a fantastic set up. And I think a couple of years ago when we done it it was in some basement of some pub so I was excepting a bit more of the same, but this is really nice. Had an interesting day, it’s been good, and probably spend a more time just having a little wander around, see what’s going on.
