ASEAN Gaming Summit 2022 Pop-Up Forum – Update on PIGOs

In association with the ASEAN Gaming Summit 2022, AGB is hosting another hotly-anticipated “pop-up” Zoom webinar.

To be held on 21st March, 2022, at 4pm HKT, the forum takes the pulse of the Philippines’ “PIGO” scheme, a concept introduced in 2020 allowing land-based operators to offer remote gaming to their members. 

The program has drawn incredible interest from both governments and operators around Asia – as more jurisdictions begin to contemplate the introduction of online gaming. Many see the Philippines’ PIGO scheme as a test case for regulated remote gaming. 

Moderated by Asia Gaming Brief’s Sharon Singleton, attendees will hear from Joe Pisano, CEO of Jade Technologies, and Brian Ng, President of PhilWeb Corp. We discuss how the scheme has been accepted by operators to this point, how it has performed, the hurdles operators have faced, and where this industry is going.
