As leading industry figures prepare to attend this week’s CasinoBeats Summit, we’ve been sitting down with our event sponsors to find out what we can expect to see at the event.
For Marcus Honney – Managing Director at AvatarUX – the CasinoBeats Summit presents the opportunity to show delegates how the PopWins mechanic is elevating the overall player experience.
What are you looking forward to at CasinoBeats Summit?
We are very excited to meet and mingle with igaming officials and key figures at the CasinoBeats Summit, especially after such a long period with no networking events happening in the industry.
We are also interested to hear updates and interesting insights from the speakers, but more than anything we are excited about the Game Developer Awards. As you know 3 of our games have been nominated and we are very much looking forward to the Award ceremony.
What are you promoting at CasinoBeats Summit?
First and foremost, we are here to show the industry the results of our hard work and dedication, which is our games. That also brings along their unique features and unprecedented popularity, which is mainly thanks to the distinctive graphics and our very own and unique PopWins™ mechanics. We have created and further developed mechanics that enhance the whole player experience by “POP”-ing additional winning combinations.
Which casino operator has impressed you the most in 2020/2021?
I am convinced that every operator respecting this industry and its customers is doing its absolute utmost to keep this industry as a positive environment. I am really unable to pick one – as an absolute winner that is- but if I have to give an example that struck me, I would say that Kindred’s step towards “zero revenues from harmful gaming” was a brave and admirable move.
What casino partnership has stood out in the past 12 months?
We operate in a dynamic industry and many things happened in the past 12 months. Again, it’s hard to pick one, but the partnership of LeoVegas with Caesars Entertainment and their planned entry into the US is definitely one to follow.
Which parts of the conference agenda have caught your eye?
The variety and the careful selection of topics was a very pleasant thing to see. Definitely the parts on slot selection by operators, gamification, slot mechanics and features immediately caught my attention as they are also more relevant to what we do.
