SBC Summit Barcelona – Digital is just round the corner with the largest virtual event on the calendar running from September 8-11. Ahead of the summit, we’ve been chatting with our event sponsors to discuss some of the products being showcased at the virtual event.
Dr. Susanne Ardisson, Head of Strategic Communication at Bayes Esports, highlighted how the firm is looking forward to promoting its brand to a whole host of new potential clients, specifically those looking to jump into competitive gaming offerings.
What are you looking forward to at the SBC Summit Barcelona – Digital?
Being inspired by a fully virtual and interactive conference, exhibition and networking experience.
What would be your biggest bit of advice for betting and gaming businesses trying to mitigate the impact of COVID-19?
As SBC headlined: “No Drama Please… Esports growth should be treated as business as usual”.
What are you promoting at SBC Summit Barcelona – Digital?
Every service around esports needs one resource: Rich and reliable data which are easy to access. Media cannot offer an entertaining live experience without accurate and complete data, betting companies need fast in-game data to calculate odds and analytic companies need deep in-game data to analyse the next opponent. Bayes Esports fulfils those needs: We provide reliable, rich and fast data in every single aspect. And to make it as easy as possible we offer these data at a central, neutral marketplace called BEDEX in different formats, delays and granularities to fit exactly the need of our customers.
What industry innovation will capture the most attention in 2020?
BEDEX, our independent marketplace to provide data consumers with reliable and standardized in-game data through a single interface.
Which operator has impressed you the most in 2020?
Pinnacle.
What partnership has stood out in the past 12 months?
From a personal perspective it’s the media partnership with iGaming Business. They are very open to new topics, always try a more business-oriented focus (leaving the esports bubble) and we can really trust them which is essential in communication.
Which parts of the conference agenda have caught your eye?
COVID contingency planning. Not only because of our CEO Martin Dachselt who will join the panel but because its such a hot topic, especially the question how bookmakers can make contingency plans around another potential sport blackout.
Further details, including the agenda, full line-up of 200 speakers and list of the 100 virtual exhibitors, are available from the official SBC Summit Barcelona – Digital website.
