As more states continue to embrace gambling legislation, Jeff Connor – Regional Director North America for BetConstruct – believes that 2021 will be filled with โcontinued growth, consolidation and a focus on customer service and innovationโ.
Speaking to SBC Events ahead of this weekโs SBC Digital North America 2021, Connor touched upon the products and features that BetConstruct will be promoting at the digital event before explaining why now is a great time to be involved in the sports betting industry.
What are you looking forward to at SBC North America Digital 2021?
We look forward to the lively exchange of ideas and the opportunity to introduce BetConstruct to North America. I always enjoy hearing fellow Michigander Derek Stevens speak; he literally changed the landscape of downtown!
What are your predictions for the gaming industry in 2021?
Continued growth, consolidation, a focus on customer service and innovation
What are you promoting at SBC North America Digital 2021?
We are promoting BetConstruct – a true sleeping giant! While we are well known in other parts of the world, we are relative newcomers to the North American market. We offer a complete one stop shop for sports betting and iGaming.
What industry innovation will capture the most attention in 2021?
I would have to say BetConstruct’s myriad of features which eliminates the need for third parties is as exciting as it gets! A Sportsbook in a box!
Which operator has impressed you the most over the last 12 months?
I would go back to the opening of Circa’s sports book.
What partnership has stood out in the past 12 months?
This is a really great time to be in this industry and especially our sector! On a recent trip to Las Vegas I was really impressed with Bet Hero’s team that works with Stations and MGM.
Which parts of the conference agenda have caught your eye?
Always the speakers! Knowledge is power and I like to hear from operators like Conrad Granito from Muckleshoot to David Purdom from ESPN. We learn best by listening!
