For the upcoming Betting on Sports America, we have been catching up with our sponsors to discuss what it is they are looking forward to at the event. In a chat with Marc F. Pedersen, VP Business Development and Sales at Better Collective A/S, we spoke about the importance of forging partnerships is for the newly regulated market, and the opportunities at #bosamerica to chat about the iGaming agenda in the US.
What are you looking forward to at Betting on Sports America?
Iโm looking forward to meeting industry stakeholders and influencers and, of course, learning more about what is on the iGaming agenda in the US.
Better Collective has had a license in NJ since 2014, and hence we already know a lot of players in the market. However, it is always good to meet existing partners face to face and itโll of course be interesting to meet and talk to potential new Better Collective partners. ย
What are you promoting at Betting on Sports America?
We are promoting our broad variety of products. Being the worldโs largest sports betting affiliate, and having been in the affiliate game since 2004, we have developed an extensive product portfolio. We of course are going to highlight our US facing sports betting products that are already providing a lot of quality leads to our partners. ย
What sports betting partnership has stood out in the past 12 months?
Perhaps Fanduel x Paddy Power Betfair or DraftKings x Caesars as this indicates Caesars has realized how important the online aspect of the industry is going to be for the market. However, we are still in the early days of the US regulations, so Iโm sure more partnerships will pop up.
If you could attend one sporting event, what would it be?
That would be an NFL match between New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys at MetLife Stadium. Iโve always been a big Giants fan, so Iโm extra happy that the USA is becoming a focus market for us, as I now have a good excuse to visit the states and catch some games.
The event, taking place from 23-25 April, is set to host 175 leading industry speakers across 40 sessions, with 60 exhibitors displaying their latest products at the Meadowlands Exposition Center.
Delegates will be treated to world class hospitality with plenty of business and networking opportunities in New Jersey (Meadowlands Racetrack) and New York (40/40 Club and Sky Room Rooftop Bar). For more information, please visit the Betting on Sports America website.
