Crypto casino and sportsbooks hold a “special interest” to Delasport according to its CEO, Oren Cohen Shwartz, who believes it will be a “real industry disruptor”.
Speaking ahead of CasinoBeats Summit 2022, Cohen Shwartz, who will conduct a presentation entitled ‘Adding a sportsbook to casino operations: The why and how of upping your game’, explained his thoughts on Malta’s role within the iGaming ecosystem and the sector’s eye-catching innovations.
What makes CasinoBeats Summit stand out as an event?
The summit brings the world’s biggest and best casino operators, stakeholders and suppliers under one roof, so we naturally want to be there to showcase our powerful casino, sportsbook and player account management platform to anyone looking to enhance their offering and enter new markets.
What role does Malta play for your company in the iGaming ecosystem?
Malta is a home to a lot of B2C and B2B companies and their employees, and as we have our own office there, we feel close to the business community there. Malta is a fantastic location to operate a business and we look forward to continuing and growing our presence there.
What industry innovation will capture the most attention in the next 12 months?
It’s an exciting time for iGaming, and there are many interesting things emerging from the pipeline. For us, crypto casino and sportsbooks hold a special interest as we believe this will be a real industry disruptor – and so we want to be right there at the forefront as it develops to bring it to our partners before it matures and the market gets saturated.
What core challenges do you help solve for your customers/partners?
As a B2B company we strive to understand our partners’ needs. We therefore define a strategy of market availability, allowing partners to expand to more regulated markets with unique features that allow them to differentiate in competitive markets.
These features include data-led personalisation to enhance the betting experience and an intelligent cross-product gamification stack of tournaments, missions, wheels, badges and more.
Who have you especially enjoyed working with over the past year (partner/client)?
We are passionate about demonstrating our knowledge about the wider iGaming industry and reaching more audiences than ever. This year, we have partnered with leading iGaming publisher, SBC News and regularly supply them with in-depth articles and news items written by our team, which is then published and shared to their audiences.
The relationship is working out great for both of us, as they get a regular stream of quality content, and we get to demonstrate our industry prowess through thought leadership.
What are you hoping to learn from the conference at CasinoBeats Summit 2022?
One of our main goals is to continue our expansion across different markets. We have made incredible strides over the last year in this regard but are keen to maintain this momentum to help operators reach even more global players.
As such, we’ll be paying close attention to conversations and panels that discuss emerging markets such as Ontario, the US, and Germany.
