With the inaugural SBC Digital Summit Latinoamérica beginning tomorrow, SBC has been catching up with our event sponsors to discuss their plans for the digital conference.
Brian Forth, marketing manager at Finnplay Technologies, told SBC that they will be promoting their flagship Titan platform, and that the virtual meeting possibilities and the convenience of connecting with new potential partners from the comfort of home has been a stand-out feature of the event.
What are you looking forward to at the SBC Digital Summit Latinoamérica?
We are excited about this event for two reasons: First, as an iGaming platform provider, we have been very interested in the possibilities of seeking out new partnerships with operators in Latin American markets. We already have some experience in the market, and we are interested to expand our growth there in the coming years, so this event is a perfect opportunity to learn more, and meet new people who are already there.
Second, like the rest of the industry, we are looking for new virtual ways to connect with people around the world in light of travel restrictions and other changes brought on by the pandemic. Now is the time to find effective new ways to use technology to accomplish the same goals with less travel and cost – so we are very excited to participate in this, our first virtual exhibition.
What would be your biggest bit of advice for betting and gaming businesses trying to mitigate the impact of COVID-19?
We have listened to the guidelines and advice of the health authorities in our country and around the world. Fortunately, as a digital company with international offices, we had already been using tools to support virtual work and cooperation.
During this lockdown, we have only enhanced our use of these tools to support remote working while keeping productivity high. We have noticed that incorporating video in team calls has had a positive impact on keeping team spirit and connection, more than audio alone, and we can suggest that for other companies as well in all industries.
What are you promoting at SBC Digital Summit Latinoamérica?
We will be promoting our iGaming platform Titan. Titan is our flagship product, built over our 12 years of experience in the industry. It is an open platform that integrates all the major game, payment and third party service providers.
Our speciality has been in responsible gaming, compliance and agile development. We also have integrated exciting features to support casino management, including intelligent marketing and campaign tools, messaging, security and much more.

We are watching the exciting innovations in Esports due to COVID-19
Which operator has impressed you the most in 2020?
In general SGA licensed operators, who have taken an active role in trying to change a market where the licensed operators are denied any tools to compete against grey operators.

Which parts of the conference agenda have caught your eye?
