Renowned experts from the fields of integrity, betting and sports marketing will join forces at the annual Gaming in Holland event next week to set out a vision for a responsible and sustainable sports betting market.
With online sports betting set to arrive in the Netherlands next year, Gaming in Holland will dedicate an entire afternoon session on Thursday 6th June to the topic.
The session will kick-off with a keynote speech by the worldβs foremost sports integrity expert, Declan Hill. Hill, an investigative journalist, documentary maker and author of βThe Fix: Organized Crime and Soccerβ, will discuss how and why match-fixing still infect sport despite millions of tax-payers’ money being spent.
The day will draw to a close with SBCβs newly appointed Chief Commercial Officer Jaap Kalma discussing the crucial top of sportsbook marketing. Joining a panel of representatives from GVC Group, Regulus Partners and sports rights holders, Kalma will debate how betting operators harness the power of sports to grow their brands without damaging the reputation of the sector.
Other sessions bring together market-leading businesses such as Genius Sports Group and Sportradar on the increasingly prominent subject of official data, while legal and operational experts will tackle the uncertain future of retail sports betting in Holland.
The event starts on Wednesday 5th June with sessions featuring the likes of Holland Casino CEO Erwin van Lambaart and the Ministry of Justice and Securityβs Integrity and Gambling head Dennis van Breemen.
At a critical time for the Dutch gaming industry, Gaming in Holland will once again provide business-critical intelligence for all stakeholders in the market.
