Hub88: Flexibility and agility are key to mitigating the impact of the pandemic

CasinoBeats Malta Digital gives the industry the chance to come together and reflect upon what comes next, explained Vladimir Negine, Director of Hub88, as he discussed next week’s digital event.

With only five days to go, Vladimir Negine told SBC that their Hub88 next-generation content aggregator will take centre stage at their stand, and that the Future of Gaming sessions stood out as Hub88 are ‘always looking for ways to push in new directions’.

What are you looking forward to at CasinoBeats Malta Digital 2020?

During these unprecedented and challenging times, CasinoBeats Malta 2020 gives us a chance to come together as an industry and reflect upon what comes next. I’m looking forward to discussing ways product innovation and content aggregation can combine to offer a more engaging product to customers going forward.

What would be your biggest bit of advice for betting and gaming businesses trying to mitigate the impact of COVID-19?

I would say that being flexible and listening to your customers is more important than ever. No-one could have predicted this global lockdown, but it is those gaming companies – both operators and suppliers – who take an agile approach who are dealing with it the best.

What are you promoting at CasinoBeats Malta Digital?

We will be showcasing Hub88, a next-generation content aggregator that provides operators with access to more than 3,000 games and a full suite of back-office tools via a single API.

What industry innovation will capture the most attention in 2020?

It may not be new, but we work closely with some extremely successful bitcoin-led casino and sportsbook brands. Over the past few years, bitcoin gaming has really accelerated. A wide range of players now understand the benefits of bitcoin, and the quality of the user experience at crypto-led casinos matches the best from the fiat sector. It is an exciting time to be involved in the space.

Which operator has impressed you the most in 2020?

Our partner Bitcasino.io is really setting the standard – and not just with its world-class product offering. In December, it pledged more than $100,000 to the global #TeamTrees movement. And during lockdown, it has worked tirelessly to raise money for good causes as part of the “Crypto vs COVID-19” campaign, which saw a further 20 bitcoins (~$200,000) donated. This is a time where giving back and showing kindness has never been more important, and we are proud to work with Bitcasino to help facilitate that.

What partnership has stood out in the past 12 months?

We’ve been busy striking partnerships over the past year which are designed to add value to our platform. We are particularly excited to have Green Jade’s innovative arcade games on the Hub88 platform. Other recent highlights have included our deals with Push Gaming and Big Time Gaming, and we are delighted to see fantastic content now available on Hub88 from more than 60 other providers.

Which parts of the conference agenda have caught your eye?

We are particularly looking forward to the ‘Future of Gaming’ sessions. Here at Hub88, we are always looking for ways to push in new directions, experiment and look at how we can use technology to improve the user experience. We are excited to see what others in the space are doing, share ideas, and innovate together.
