There is only a few weeks until CasinoBeats Malta brings together some of the industry’s leading executives, and in the run up to the event, we have been speaking to some of the event’s sponsors.
In a chat with Ori Zilbershtein, Chief Business Development Officer at Hyperion Tech Ltd, he explained that Hyperion Tech Ltd is focusing upon client relationships by building new R&D centers, and that remote working and flexibility will become a key area of innovation in 2020.
What are you looking forward to at CasinoBeats Malta?
I am super excited for the panel discussions, many talented people are speaking through the industry on really important key issues and subjects. Definitely will tune in for those.
What are you promoting at CasinoBeats Malta?
We are specializing in building R&D centers and dedicated development teams for companies. We do not believe in outsourcing work like the traditional model, but we believe in creating actual extensions of the client’s company which translates into much better results in the long term, it is all about relationships.
What industry innovation will capture the most attention in 2020?
Innovation demands a broad spectrum of ideas and many reiterations based on failures, companies are awaking to a reality where remote working / multi location operation and flexibility becomes the future of working. As always location location location.
Which casino operator has impressed you the most in 2019/2020?
I think one of the best initiative this year was Responsible Affiliates in Gambling (RAIG) which created a coalition around responsible gaming with the affiliate branches, which really needs it. Betsson did a wonderful partnership with QLZH Foundation, planting trees which is amazing. Sustainability is key to long term wins, and they really carved it onto their flag.
What casino partnership has stood out in the past 12 months?
Same as last answer, Betsson’s partnership with QLZH Foundation for sustainability is super amazing. I also think in the U.S the acquisition Penn national did with barstool sports is super interesting and should yield really good results for them, also shows on the huge potential in the market, and how operators should be quick on their feet to setup centers there.
Which parts of the conference agenda have caught your eye?
Mostly the panels, many interesting subjects, especially those around the skill shortage and lack of credentials on the island for certain roles and positions.
