Betting on Sports returns this September (17-20) as a bigger and bolder event with 3,500 delegates from around the globe expected to gather at Olympia London for the 4th edition of the world’s leading sports betting industry event.
Continuing from last years success, the conference will grow to feature an incredible 300 expert speakers from all sectors of the industry – a 50% increase on 2018.
This comes after a post-event survey from #BOSCON last September showed that delegates highlighted conference content and staying updated on industry developments among their main objectives for attending.
The survey was made available to all 2,500 registered delegates at last year’s Betting on Sports, which also found considerable praise for the party locations, speaker lineup and conference app, as well as the presence of so many industry leaders. This was underlined among others by Jamie McKittrick, Head of Commercial for GVC Group saying: “BoS always has the highest proportion of relevant contacts, suppliers and content for sportsbook operators.” and by Dmitry Starostenkov, CEO of EvenBet adding: “The conference is absolutely astonishing. Keeping the tremendously high level of speakers and topics, whilst growing the audience each year.”
A staggering 90% of those surveyed highlighted the quality of the conference with Simon Dunne, CMO of Broadway Gaming commenting: “Content was far superior than anything I’ve experienced in my 7 years in the Industry.” and one CEO of a leading UK operator further adding, “The conference sessions are the stand out feature of Betting On Sports“.
In total, there were more than 200 speakers spread across six Betting on Sports tracks, ESI London, AffiliateFEST, SBC Sponsorship Forum and the CasinoBeats Summit.
From this list, Mark Blandford (Founder of Sportingbet), Sergey Portnov (CEO of Parimatch), Andrew Dagnall (Bettorlogic), Warwick Bartlett (Global Betting and Gaming Consultants), Marco Blume (Pinnacle), Jason Robins (DraftKings), Gavin Walters (Gambling.com) & Ronnie O’Sullivan (Snooker Legend) were mentioned by delegates as their favourite speakers.
It was also revealed from the survey that 92% would recommend attending Betting on Sports to a colleague and 94% would attend again, underlining the quality of the event. Jari Vahanen, Senior VP of Veikkaus commented: “Based on my 27 years experience I would say that it was the best Sports Betting event I have attended, and one of the best events in the gambling business ever!”
Other reasons for attending, as highlighted by survey respondents included, “Being able to meet with C – Level executives and being able to openly discuss business opportunities and industry developments.”
Furthermore, it was recently announced that the exhibition floor has this year been increased by 25 per cent, giving more space for premier suppliers to showcase their latest innovations and products. This is in response to delegates highlighting “…the fantastic diversity of exhibitors and visitors, lending itself to great discussions!“
