With SBC Summit North America just under a week away, Oliver Lietz, CEO of nanocosmos, describes what his firm brings to the North American market and what they’re hoping to achieve from attending this year’s conference.

What would you highlight as the biggest opportunity in the US gaming industry over the next couple of years?

“The opening of the Canadian and US markets in regards to the legalization of online gaming and betting.

“We as a provider of interactive live streaming support iGaming and betting operators with all workflows that are part of the interactive live streaming process, to integrate live video into custom applications, from ingest to playout, with easy integration and very robust and stable data-driven live video streaming.”

What industry innovation will capture the most attention in the next 12 months?

“There is a lot of room for innovation to be picked up by live gaming and betting operators, based on live video to share with their player audiences. Trends like ‘fast betting’ on sports create new ideas by operators for new types of games.”

What core challenges do you help solve for your customers/partners?

“We have seen continuous growth in terms of the importance and the market of interactive live streaming. It is a great opportunity to engage anyone worldwide based on live video content.

What are you hoping to learn from the conference at SBC Summit North America?

“We always learn from industry meetings! There are a lot of innovations and there is a demand for reliable technologies to support live video content. We are excited to learn what the trends are, and learn about the maturity of the market and its challenges. Almost like a SWOT analysis that will help the involved stakeholders shaping the future.”
