As SBC Summit North America approaches, OneComply CEO Cameron Conn highlighted to SBC what he enjoys about the upcoming tradeshow and event and how he expects the US gaming industry to unfold over the next few years.
What makes SBC Summit North America stand out as an event?
“SBC has done a tremendous job of creating an event that feels digestible in size, unique in the events and speakers, and draws the right members of organizations that allow for real work to get done. As in years past, I look forward to seeing how the industry is progressing in the market and catching up with customers we just do not get to see often enough.”
What would you highlight as the biggest opportunity in the US gaming industry over the next couple of years?
“In my humble opinion, I think we are going to be able to identify the long-term winners and losers of what appears to be a race across North America. This includes digital operators, platform providers, and suppliers.
“There is still so much growth and scale, it is going to take a while for the dust to settle. We are also going to see how long the current marketing spend can last on player acquisition before profitability is demanded by public and private investors.
“I do not have a prediction, because I do not know how it will play out, but it will be interesting to see how all of this will impact bricks and mortar operators that are stand-alone operations or operators that are not in major markets.”
