OneComply: There is incredible growth in the industry

Ahead of this week’s SBC Digital North America, Cameron Conn – CEO of OneComply – shared his thoughts on how utilising database marketing and digital products can help land-based casinos to “capitalize on the desire to travel after the pandemic”.

Conn gave us a sneak peak into what OneComply will be promoting at the digital event, while pointing out that innovations in customer engagement and unique betting solutions will capture the industry’s attention in 2021.

What are you looking forward to at SBC North America Digital 2021?

SBC North America events are proving to be an amazing resource to see, in one space, where the industry is going. There is incredible growth in the industry and this event allows you to really understand the quickly changing landscape of the industry.

The attendee list is proving to be a front row seat to the people that are propelling this industry forward.

What are your predictions for the gaming industry in 2021?

I think we are going to see tremendous numbers from both the digital and bricks and mortar sectors. As COVID has been devastating to various sectors of the industry, we have seen huge numbers from local casino properties and amazing growth from the digital sector when sports returned to market.

I think we are going to continue to see these numbers from operators that utilized database marketing the best, especially on the bricks and mortar size. Physical properties that are aligned with digital products will have a great opportunity to capitalize on the desire to travel after the pandemic.

What are you promoting at SBC North America Digital 2021?

What industry innovation will capture the most attention in 2021?

I think any innovation in customer engagement and unique betting solutions. The sports betting industry is moving very quickly and each product is trying to gain and maintain market share in each state.

Which operator has impressed you the most over the last 12 months?

I think PointBet has done a tremendous job moving quickly through the available states. From coming into the New Jersey market with an locally unknown product to the scale they have currently is very impressive. They have a great team that is doing everything it takes to grow their US business.

What partnership has stood out in the past 12 months?

Strictly coming from a fan of business, I am very keen to see what Penn and Barstool sports do. The digital content engagement by the Barstool Sports team is very unique, and the cast of characters from all aspects of sports and media create an amazing opportunity to drive traffic, not only digitally, but physically. I am interested to see what they do in the physical space.

I am a big fan of Erika Nardini, and always try to catch her speaking engagements.
