What are you looking forward to at Betting on Sports?
The interesting thing will be understanding how the industry is reacting to the changing regulation and what their plans are for the next 12-18 months as the market grows but the pressures intensify.ย
What are you promoting at Betting on Sports?
Onfido will be promoting itโs Identity Verification solutions to help operators verify the Identity and Age of itโs customers both from an account opening and also from the ongoing account re-authentication perspective. We also will be promoting our innovative new โKnown Facesโ solution which will help operators with Bonus Abusers and Problem Gamblers.ย
What industry innovation will capture the most attention in 2019?
User experience will continue itโs trend of driving the greatest returns for the operators and as such the solution that best helps that experience will win.ย
Which sports betting operator has impressed you the most in 2019?
There has been a lot of pressures with the regulation changes this last year and so many of the operators who have been able to adjust and continue to provide a world class service to their customers would be impressive to Onfido. To that extent GVC and PaddyPower Betfair have been the ones to catch the eye.ย
What sports betting partnership has stood out in the past 12 months?
I donโt think I have seen one that stands out but as a keen horse racing enthusiast the partnership between Kindred and Cheltenham Racecourse is a positive one.ย
If you could attend one sporting event, what would it be?
The ultimate sporting events for me are the HeavyWeight Boxing matches. I would love to be at the next AJ fight. He might not win but he is always exciting!
