Parimatch: The industry must constantly evolve and get used to the new reality

As next week’s SBC Summit Barcelona – Digital draws closer, we’ve been sitting down with our event sponsors to discuss what delegates can expect from the event.

What are you looking forward to at the SBC Summit Barcelona – Digital?

It is not the first time Parimatch is taking part in SBC Digital Summit  – as a partner and as a participant. As a company, we are constantly growing and expanding, searching for opportunities, learning about innovations and insights. 

We have become one of the top Global players in the category, so it is crucial for us to learn and share as much as possible, especially in the pandemic situation. For sure SBC Summit is a great place for exchanging experiences and networking.

What would be your biggest bit of advice for betting and gaming businesses trying to mitigate the impact of COVID-19?

Humanity has been experiencing a lot of dramatical changes and collapses during its history. And look! We have survived. What has always helped humanity to win this battle? Curiosity, no fear, flexibility, ability to evolve and ability to risk. So I think, what we all could and should do now – is never be afraid of changes, see a lot of opportunities, be agile and really fast in our decision making, constantly evolve and get used to the new reality. 

At Parimatch we haven’t stop working and building our brand for a single moment – even during the tough lockdowns.  We have found out that we became even more effective and fast, and we could manage in just a few months to finalize and bring to live things that took sometimes years in the past.

What are you promoting at SBC Summit Barcelona – Digital?

I will not reveal all the secrets, but there will be a lot of amazing presents!

What industry innovation will capture the most attention in 2020?

It’s not a secret that worldwide lockdown caused a significant raise of spending time online. And our category is all about online entertainment. So we do not compete with each other anymore. We compete with social networks, YouTube, online-shopping any other platform that can somehow entertain the audience. 

Any innovation or even invention that will help in convincing people to make a right choice and choose gambling vs Facebook or Instagram will take the cake

Which operator has impressed you the most in 2020?

I joined the company a little less than a year ago. I assume, I can still say – Parimatch

What partnership has stood out in the past 12 months?

Honestly, I am all about Esports right now, and I was really impressed by luxury brands integration (such as Louis Vuitton) – a very smart move. Concerning the partnerships in gambling category – I am sure the bests are still to come!

Which parts of the conference agenda have caught your eye?

This is my first time attending SBC Digital Summit, so I am pretty much interested in everything which is going to happen.
