What are you looking forward to at SBC Summit North America?
Shortly after we launched Quarter4, the pandemic hit and along with everyone else, weโve been doing business over the screen. We all missed doing business and creating connections face-to-face.ย
Iโm excited to finally meet connections and partners in person, hear ideas from my fellow speakers, and to feel the excitement of everyone gathered in one place.
What are you promoting at SBCย Summit North America?
In the past few months, we have doubled the amount of predictions coming out of our system from 1 million to 2 million per day.ย
By the time weโre at the conference, weโll be in the full swing of NFL, NHL and NBA seasons. Iโm looking forward to sharing how Quarter4โs data can allow casinos, sportsbooks, DFS platforms, leagues and teams to serve their customers with a richer sports betting experience.
What sports betting partnership has stood out in the past 12 months?
It is not entirely a sports betting partnership, but rather one that may facilitate the betting process, is the NBAโs recent partnership with Coinbase, a cryptocurrency platform. This is a very progressive partnership that pushes cryptocurrency into a mainstream light. The NBA has already done this with their betting partnerships. The league has a very young and tech-savvy user base and they are aggressively catering to that.
What are your predictions for the US market in the next five years?
In the first ten months of the year, weโve seen nine states pass betting legislation in the U.S. As the market grows, the need for robust data sets is crucial. Strong, rich and trustworthy data is the backbone of the sports betting industry as it explodes.
Convergence is also a theme. Whether it is media and betting empires partnering, or online and physical locations allowing their patrons to access services seamlessly to boost experiences, convergence will be driven by progressive technology requirements.
