However, with over a decade of experience organising events, it is fair to say we have seen our fair share of success as well as some easily avoidable mistakes. With that in mind, we thought it would be helpful to compile 10 of your most frequently asked questions around the event to ensure you can arrive in Georgia stress-free and fully prepared to own the week!

Very nice of us, dont you think?

Why has SBC decided to host an event in Georgia?

Over the years SBC has worked tirelessly to build up its portfolio of focused, industry events in key markets such as North America, Canada, Latin America, Malta, Barcelona and most recently Rio, with our inaugural SBC Summit located in Lisbon coming this September.

Considering the challenges faced by brands targeting Eastern European and Central Asian markets when travelling to Western Europe and beyond, Tbilisi, Georgia was strategically selected. The choice serves not only to facilitate seamless travel for industry professionals from surrounding regions to the event but also to spotlight significant markets like Georgia, Ukraine, Armenia, Bulgaria, and Romania, along with emerging markets like Uzbekistan.

Who is the event aimed at?

SBC Summit Tbilisi is the ideal event for anyone seeking to expand their knowledge or to operate in the Eastern European and Central Asian regions. Is it a niche event? Absolutely! But that is not to say there aren’t countless opportunities awaiting you in Georgia!

Attendees of the upcoming event will have the opportunity to connect with 1,500 of the industry’s brightest minds, in which key stakeholders such as C-level executives, founders, and directors, make up an impressive 23% and additional decision makers such as directors, heads of, VPs and SVPs contributing a further 20%.  But it doesn’t stop there, SBC Summit Tbilisi will also lay host to 600 operators, 150 affiliates, over 60 expert speakers and 30 global and regional exhibitors!
