Slotegrator: This is the year of novel bonus functionalities and features

With a few days to go until SBC Summit Barcelona, we’ve been sitting down with some of our sponsors to find out what they’re most looking forward to at the event.

For Ayvar Gabidullin, Leading Sales Manager at Slotegrator, the focus will be on showcasing Slotegrator’s range of services as well as its newly developed Telegram casino bot.

What are you looking forward to at the SBC Summit Barcelona?

After a long time without live conferences, SBC is giving us a great opportunity to get back to normal. Virtual events simply can’t match the depth of face-to-face interactions.

I’m looking forward to meeting our clients and partners in person and to network with other industry insiders at SBC Barcelona. The conference agenda is very dense, so I’m confident that all attendees will get plenty of value out of it!

What are you promoting at SBC Summit Barcelona?

Over the last year or so, we added a huge number of game providers to our roster, enhanced both our casino and betting platforms with plenty of features, and came up with a unique product I’m very excited about – our Telegram casino bot.

And remember, our company is more than just a technical solution provider. We have a very strong vertical focused on helping with legal processes of any kind, with services ranging from business structure advisory to consultations on gambling jurisdictions and compliance. We also assist with license acquisition in Europe and beyond, from Malta to Curaçao.

What industry innovation will capture the most attention in 2021?

I think it depends on your perspective. For operators, this is the year of crypto: they will have to quickly adapt to the changes in players’ behaviour and preferences. Think of how many casinos have started accepting cryptocurrencies or the number of crypto casinos being launched. Some brands have already developed their own crypto tokens that users can play with and even mine.

For providers of classic games, the focus is on coming up with novel bonus functionalities and features to keep their products fresh, as live casino-oriented studios are on a high and game shows seem ready for prime time.

Finally, there’s the legal side of things. More and more countries are either regulated or in the process of regulating their markets. The changes in the licensing processes for operators and B2B providers in some key markets will definitely be impactful.

Which casino operator has impressed you the most in 2020/2021?

Which operator has shone a positive light on the industry? This might be through a product launch, commitment to responsible gambling, innovative marketing campaign, or for taking a certain stance in debates concerning the industry.

Crypto casino brands are introducing many improvements and innovations to the gambling business. In my opinion, one of the most exciting brands of the year is betfury.io. Just look at how many options they give to their players – you will be surprised. It’s a whole new approach to the industry.

And, even if it’s not an operator, Evolution deserves to be mentioned. I keep falling in love with their products, and their latest game is just amazing. I keep falling in love with their products, and their latest game is just amazing. Gonzo’s Treasure Hunt is the first live casino game to bring together game show and slots-style gameplay as well as giving the option of playing in VR (Virtual Reality) mode. I think that this is what the industry needed – it truly elevates the live dealer experience.

What casino partnership has stood out in the past 12 months?

It’s hard to say – interesting collaborations being announced; still, the news of Evolution’s planned acquisition of Big Time Gaming really surprised me. It’s a step in the right direction for both companies, and a testament to the fact that Evolution is acquiring all the top providers in the industry.

Which parts of the conference agenda have caught your eye?

There’s an intriguing presentation titled “Germany – stumbling at the last hurdle?”. Germany has recently come up with new regulations and, as we start offering our solutions in this market, we are closely monitoring the situation. Another presentation that caught my eye is the one about Latin America. We are very interested in this land of sleeping giants, keeping up to date with any regulatory changes to spot new opportunities.
