Spribe: The future of iGaming is in personalised player experiences

When discussing how to engage with the millennial generation, David Natroshvili, Managing Partner suggests that ‘smart games’ could hold the answers for betting operators.

Speaking ahead of next week’s SBC Summit Barcelona – Digital, David Natroshvili discussed their Aviator game – which they will be showcasing at the event – and highlighted the range of networking opportunities to ‘meet’ with iGaming professionals.

What are you looking forward to at the SBC Summit Barcelona – Digital?

It’s good to see that in these unusual times it’s still possible to network with fellow iGaming professionals and showcase your products to the market. I see a lot of high-profile speakers with interesting agenda, also many of our partners attending events and I’m excited about opportunities.

What would be your biggest bit of advice for betting and gaming businesses trying to mitigate the impact of COVID-19?

I will be optimistic here, most new innovative businesses are created in tough times, challenges are bringing change. My advice will be to read between the lines and discover new opportunities that arise, they might be the next big thing.

What are you promoting at SBC Summit Barcelona – Digital?

Our biggest success is “Aviator”, the so-called “increasing curve” game, is taking industry by the storm. Originated from the video gaming industry, this format is becoming one of the major hits in the iGaming industry. Launched a year and a half ago, Aviator became an industry success and is already integrated on more than 200 operators worldwide.

Aviator is built around “player control” philosophy: the player is making decisions and can even adjust outcome settings (game volatility). This with simplicity, social elements and exciting gambling experience makes it one of the top choices for millennial and Gen Z players.

What industry innovation will capture the most attention in 2020?

The industry was always struggling to attract one of most lucrative demographics of players – millennials. I think new generation, so-called “smart” games can be an answer for this. Today we see the emergence of such games and I think they will become part of the industry in the next several years.

Which operator has impressed you the most in 2020?

My favorite operator was always Casumo: I think they are trend setters and always showing where industry is heading. This year’s commitment to gamification shows that the future of iGaming is in personalized player experiences and engagement tools.

What partnership has stood out in the past 12 months?

There were a number of partnerships of major players with AI startups and I think it shows how dominant these emerging technologies will be.

Which parts of the conference agenda have caught your eye?

I will be happy to hear panel discussions in the Innovation & Technology category.

Further details, including the agenda, full line-up of 200 speakers and list of the 100 virtual exhibitors, are available from the official SBC Summit Barcelona – Digital website
