Stakelogic: Companies should think outside of the box and diversify their core business

2020 will see more companies placing a focus on gamification, explained Salvatore Marino, Sales Director of Stakelogic, ahead of next week’s CasinoBeats Malta Digital. He explained that gamification allows companies to make a neutral player evaluation and maintain brand engagement throughout the entire consumer journey.

Unveiled as our platinum sponsor for the event, Stakelogic is planning to showcase their SUPER STAKE feature to delegates, with Salvatore Marino explaining that he is also looking forward to meeting with some of the industry’s senior executives and key decision makers.

What are you looking forward to at CasinoBeats Malta Digital 2020?

Stakelogic is excited to be the platinum sponsor at CasinoBeats! We are looking forward to meeting with senior executives and decision-makers, showcasing Stakelogic’s state of the art casino content and the new release of the SUPER STAKE feature.

What would be your biggest bit of advice for betting and gaming businesses trying to mitigate the impact of COVID-19?

From a financial point of view, to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 companies should look at diversifying their core business by promoting a variety of products in all the verticals available.

From an operational point of view, companies started to set up home offices enabling employees to keep their job and work actively from home which resulted in a smart approach shared worldwide, so definitely I would suggest companies to think outside of the box and try new ways of working with their employees.

What are you promoting at CasinoBeats Malta Digital?

During CasinoBeats, Stakelogic will promote its state of the art casino content together with few of the most successful slot games in the global scene along with the industry innovation feature: SUPER STAKE.

What industry innovation will capture the most attention in 2020?

I believe that after the wave of new players we all have seen during the 2 quarters of 2020, the attention for 2020 will be focused very much on gamification and what value it can bring to companies.

Gamification is a powerful tool for companies to make a neutral player evaluation, study their behaviours, evaluate players without prejudice whilst at the same time, internally, for companies, it will boost team effort from different departments to make sure the players will make that step forward and be engaged at all times with the brand throughout the whole customer journey.

Which operator has impressed you the most in 2020?

Stakelogic has seen many of its operators performing very well during the last few years. In 2020 with the COVID-19 pandemic, we strengthened our collaboration due to the increase of traffic which eventually confirmed the high-quality of Stakelogic casino content and the company vision for the coming years.

Hats-off to Kindred Group, Pokerstars and GVC Holding, for showing a high commitment to responsible gaming in many jurisdictions heavily affected by the COVID-19. The companies during the last months announced that more key performance indicators will be added to their safer gambling algorithm to monitor player behaviour and compare pre- and post-lockdown behaviour to detect signs of increased risk.

This is an outstanding action taken by one of the world largest groups in the iGaming industry that should lead other operators to implement such indicators within the organisation and be able to act on time.

What partnership has stood out in the past 12 months?

2020 has been a very good year for Stakelogic not only for partnerships. We launched several Tier 1 Operators in many regulated jurisdictions along with several licenses acquired whilst also penetrating new markets. Stakelogic keeps proving that its content is performing amazingly well; helping operators grow market share and revenue from month to month.

Which parts of the conference agenda have caught your eye?

Workplace Culture and Wellbeing have caught my eyes the most. Stakelogic is a fast-growing and vibrant company that recently opened its new headquarters in Malta on the 22nd of June.

For us, establishing a good company culture and taking care of all our employees on a daily basis is crucial.
