Tap50:50 – Charitable sector needs to be considered when it comes to sports betting

Betting on Sports America promises to offer a plethora of networking opportunities for its attendees, which Sean O’Hagan from Tap50:50 Event Consultants Ltd told SBC that he was looking forward to at the event. Tap50:50 Event Consultants Ltd are due to sponsor the inaugural #bosamerica, and will be promoting their patented Sports Pool Lottery.

Taking place from 23-25 April at Meadowlands Exposition Center in New Jersey, delegates will be treated to world class hospitality with plenty of business and networking opportunities in New Jersey (Meadowlands Racetrack) and New York (40/40 Club and Sky Room Rooftop Bar).

What are you looking forward to at Betting on Sports America?

Tap50:50 is in the charitable gaming sector. As we are looking for strategic partnerships, I’m hoping to meet some key people in the sports betting arena that share our vision of a synergistic complementary product to sports betting while doing a little bit of good in the world.

What are you promoting at Betting on Sports America?

We are promoting our patented Sports Pool Lottery.  We haven’t launched this product yet, and are looking for strategic partners in the US.  We will be giving away free sports pool tickets based on the score of a game (probably NBA). Winners will get some cool sport tech prizes, so make sure you grab a ticket.

What sports betting partnership has stood out in the past 12 months?

Obviously the relationship between DraftKings and Caesars is big, but I find how smaller regional players such as tribal gaming and racetracks are going to compete.  Charitable lotteries have been left out to date in much of the state considerations for sports betting, I’m hoping we can change that status.

If you could attend one sporting event, what would it be?

I went to the US open last year and for me it was amazing.  I’ve also done the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona so most of my bucket lists have been satisfied. I lived in London for a year and never attended Wimbledon, so that would be right up there.
