With SBC Summit North America just around the corner, Marvin Sanderson, CEO of Xpoint, has spoken to SBC about the opportunities to come in the US gaming industry over the next few years and the challenges his company helps their clients overcome.
What makes SBC Summit North America stand out as an event?
“SBC Summit North America is one of the most important annual events for everyone involved in the sports betting, iGaming, and gambling industry, not just in the USA and Canada, but worldwide.
“There are few occasions each year where you know the people you work with are all going to be in one location, but SBC Summit North America provides that opportunity, so it’s valuable from a new business perspective, as well as just catching up with friends and colleagues.”
What would you highlight as the biggest opportunity in the US gaming industry over the next couple of years?
“The ongoing growth of the industry is the biggest opportunity over the next couple of years, it’s that simple. As new states come online, audience numbers increase, and the range of businesses supporting that development grows, so does the opportunity for success.
“As the industry grows, so does Xpoint. We are adding new team members, building our partner portfolio, and increasing our ability to work in multiple states in the USA and Canada. That is enabling us to make a real difference in our sector of the industry, attracting new businesses who want to work with a company that offers full transparency, non-exclusive agreements, and partner-focused business strategies.”
What industry innovation will capture the most attention in the next 12 months?
“Predicting the future is always tricky, for obvious reasons, but I think that we’re likely to see an increasing embrace of Web 3.0 and the opportunities it presents across our industry. That’s not one simple innovation, but the possibilities the next-gen digital world provides are endless.”
What new technology do you feel will have the biggest impact?
“The rate at which we see new tech emerge is so fast that I don’t think it’s possible to nail down one particular product or sector that will have the biggest impact over the next year.
