Meet the Tech Giants Joining SBC Summit and Affiliate Leaders Summit

A handful of companies have changed how we find answers, connect with people and discover our next favourite brand. Now, they’re changing how we work, create and do business.

This September, they’re coming to Lisbon.

Representatives from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google, Meta, OpenAI, Snapchat, TikTok and Tinder will join the gaming industry at SBC Summit and Affiliate Leaders Summit from 29 September to 1 October 2026.

You probably use several of their products before you’ve finished your morning coffee. In Lisbon, you’ll hear directly from the people working across those businesses, with opportunities to get involved through hands-on Tech Academies, presentations and panel discussions.

Want to understand:

  • How Google and Meta are approaching advertising?
  • Where do OpenAI and AWS see opportunities for AI?
  • Or what gaming businesses could learn from Tinder’s approach to building leaner teams?

There’s plenty to put in your diary.

Here’s who’s coming, where you’ll find them and what they’ll be talking about.

Tech Academies: Hands-On Sessions Led by Tech Giants

Our Tech Academies give you time to ask questions and work through practical challenges with experts from the companies shaping your industry. Through workshops, live demonstrations and AMAs, you can explore how their technology and platforms could help your business.

Here are some of the experts who will be leading our academy sessions:

Stephen Denver, GTM, OpenAI

Academy: AI Academy

Denver joins Accelerating AI Adoption, exploring how businesses can implement AI across their organisations.

Why He’s Worth Hearing From

Denver combines nearly two decades of technology business development experience, including time at AWS, with his current work at OpenAI. The company behind ChatGPT has brought generative AI into everyday working life, leaving businesses to decide where it can make the biggest difference.

His commercial background makes him relevant to that decision. For leaders considering how to introduce AI across their organisations, Denver will explore approaches to improving productivity and helping teams achieve more.

Dimitrios Papageorgiou, Senior Specialist Solutions Architect, Betting & Gaming, AWS

Academy: AI Academy

Papageorgiou will also join Accelerating AI Adoption, contributing a technical perspective on what businesses need to implement AI successfully.

Why He’s Worth Hearing From

Papageorgiou brings the technical perspective from AWS, with a specialism in betting and gaming. His work connects the company’s cloud technology with the systems operators depend on, including its application to Betsson’s network infrastructure.

That industry focus matters when discussing AI adoption. He can help attendees understand the technical foundations involved and the questions their teams need to address when introducing AI into an existing operation.

James Fox, Industry Manager, Google

Academy: Digital Marketing & CRM Academy

Fox joins Platform Discovery: Meta, Google, TikTok & Snapchat, looking at how changing platforms and audience habits are influencing marketing.

Why He’s Worth Hearing From

Fox works directly with gaming advertisers at Google, giving him a first-hand view of how betting and gaming brands are using one of the world’s biggest advertising ecosystems to reach and acquire customers.

With Search, YouTube, AI and new content formats reshaping how players discover brands, he can help attendees understand how acquisition is changing, where Google fits into that mix and how marketers should adapt as search and content behaviour evolves.

Sadie Hollis, Client Partner, Snapchat

Academy: Digital Marketing & CRM Academy

Hollis will contribute to the Platform Discovery: Meta, Google, TikTok & Snapchat session, exploring the relationship between content, audience engagement and advertising performance.

Why She’s Worth Hearing From

Hollis’s experience includes helping bring a EuroMillions campaign for Allwyn UK to Snapchat, using a generative AI Lens that let users picture themselves as lottery winners.

It’s a concrete example of Snapchat’s creative technology being put to work for a gaming brand. For marketers exploring the platform, Hollis brings experience of turning its capabilities into a live campaign, making her worth hearing from on how interactive content could fit into their own advertising.

Alex Savage, Gaming Client Solutions Manager, Meta

Academy: Digital Marketing & CRM Academy

Savage joins Platform Discovery: Meta, Google, TikTok & Snapchat, examining how advertisers can respond to changes across major digital platforms.

Why he’s worth hearing from

Savage brings experience working with affiliates at Awin alongside his current role supporting gaming clients at Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram.

That background connects two important parts of customer acquisition: affiliate partnerships and social advertising. For attendees managing investment across both, he brings an understanding of the different relationships and platforms involved. His contribution will be particularly relevant to teams considering how their social campaigns and affiliate activity can support the same commercial goals.

Jake Adams, Client Partner – RMG & FinServ, TikTok

Academy: Digital Marketing & CRM Academy

Adams joins Platform Discovery: Meta, Google, TikTok & Snapchat, exploring how brands can turn discovery and creator partnerships into effective advertising.

Why he’s worth hearing from

Adams covers real-money gambling and financial services at TikTok, giving his contribution a direct connection to the businesses in the room.

TikTok’s combination of creators and short-form video has opened up ways to reach people who weren’t actively searching for a brand. Adams brings a gaming-specific perspective on that opportunity, helping marketers consider where the platform belongs in their acquisition plans and how their content needs to adapt to it.

His role leading global games industry business development connects that technology with operators’ commercial priorities, making him a valuable voice on using cloud and AI to reduce costs, handle peak demand and deliver more personalised player experiences.

Affiliate Leaders Summit: Hear From the Platforms Behind Player Acquisition

For affiliates and acquisition teams, the decisions made by Google, Meta and TikTok can quickly become decisions about their own content, campaigns and budgets.

At the Affiliate Leaders Summit, representatives from these platforms will join the programme alongside Tinder, bringing expertise in advertising, creative strategy and consumer products.

Niv Herzberg, Creative Strategist, Meta

Session: AI-Powered Growth: How Meta is Supercharging Performance

Camgoz will share operator case studies showing how AI can improve advertising creative, campaign planning and measurement.

Why he’s worth hearing from

Herzberg brings more than a decade of experience in copywriting, art direction and creative leadership, with roles at McCann, Saatchi & Saatchi and Wix before joining Meta. His background spans developing advertising within agencies, managing creative for a technology brand and now working on creative strategy across gaming in EMEA.

That combination gives him a practical understanding of the work behind a campaign, from the initial idea to its execution. At the company behind Facebook and Instagram, he is now exploring how AI can expand those creative possibilities. Attendees will learn frameworks for developing a wider variety of advertising at scale, informed by someone who understands both the creative process and the platforms where those ads appear.

Manish Chhabra, Senior Product Manager, Tinder

Session: How AI Is Replacing Entire Departments: Building Lean Teams That Scale

Chhabra will explore how businesses are using AI to rethink team structures and grow without continually adding headcount.

Why he’s worth hearing from

Chhabra brings a product perspective from Tinder, a consumer app that helped change how people meet.

In his session, Chhabra will focus on the teams building those businesses. For leaders considering how AI could change their operations, he’ll explore how responsibilities and team structures can evolve, and what it takes to grow without continually adding headcount.

Nefeli Papadopoulou, Senior Acquisitions Manager, Google EMEA | iGaming

Session: Unlocking High-Profit iGaming Traffic: How Affiliates Discover & Scale the Best Markets

At Google, Papadopoulou works directly with gambling operators and aggregators to help them launch advertising campaigns and navigate the requirements of different markets. Her experience supporting new businesses gives her a practical understanding of what it takes to turn an expansion plan into a working acquisition strategy.

With Google central to how people search for brands, she brings a valuable perspective for affiliates looking beyond crowded markets: how to assess the opportunity, find relevant audiences and build compliant campaigns before committing more budget.

SBC Summit

At SBC Summit, experts from Meta and AWS will tackle two practical challenges for gaming brands: understanding what creator partnerships deliver and using technology to strengthen financial crime checks.

Here’s who will be bringing their expertise to the discussion at The Greatest Show in Gaming:
