SBC Summit Malta Set to Take Place Next Week with a Full Agenda for 6,000 Professionals

SBC Summit Malta will welcome 6,000 betting and iGaming professionals to the InterContinental Hotel from 28-30 April, offering a three-day experience that blends high-level strategy, hands-on learning, and premium networking opportunities.

Returning to its usual home on the island, the event will feature a comprehensive agenda centred on practical, workshop-led learning, alongside networking opportunities that extend beyond the show floor through a series of evening events. It offers a strong platform for both Malta-based professionals and international attendees to connect and do business. Last year, 47% of the audience was based in Malta, with the remainder travelling in.

A high-value audience of decision-makers and buyers

With over 2,000 operator representatives registered, spanning all key functions, the event offers strong commercial value, particularly given that 37.7% of last year’s audience held C-level or senior leadership roles with direct decision-making power. The audience is further complemented by 1,000 affiliates focused on traffic acquisition. Together, they will have access to a diverse mix of products from leading suppliers, including platform providers, game studios, martech and PSPs.

Show floor, networking spaces and on-site experience

On the show floor, attendees will be able to explore a wide range of products designed to strengthen their offering.

Companies such as Alea, Aurum Solutions, BetConstruct, Betwinner, Cloudflare, Fastly, Gaming Malta, Notix.Games, Qore, SEON, Smartico, VallettaPay, and 1xBet will be on hand to showcase their latest developments and demonstrate how their solutions can help businesses stand out from the competition.

The show floor will also feature a number of interactive lounges designed to enhance the on-site experience. Among them are the Blackjack Lounge and Roulette Lounge, both of which have proven popular in previous years as relaxed, informal spaces for networking within the venue.

In addition, attendees can take advantage of several hospitality areas, including the Synot Games Coffee Bar and the Casino Bar, as well as dedicated lunch, catering and refreshments zones. With complimentary food and drinks available throughout, guests can stay on-site and make the most of their time connecting with others.

For more structured meetings, the SBC Connect Lounge provides a dedicated space for pre-arranged appointments. These meetings can be scheduled through the official SBC Connect app, which also offers a range of features to help attendees plan their schedules and connect with other participants ahead of the event.

Conference agenda, speakers and standout sessions

On the conference side, attendees will benefit from an educational programme that reflects the full spectrum of the industry, from strategy through to execution. Day one focuses on big-picture thinking, with tracks such as Marketing Unplugged, Product Visionaries, and Risk, Regulation & Resilience.

Day two shifts towards practical application, with sessions under Marketing in Action, Product in Practice, and Policy to Practice. Together, this creates a clear narrative arc from ideas to implementation, an approach that is often missing from conference agendas.

Standout sessions

  • The Affiliate Fallout: Survival in a Shifting Landscape
  • The CEO Chat Show: Leadership in the Hot Seat
  • The CMO Review: Campaigns Under the Spotlight
  • Regulation: Tax Hikes, Player Migration and the Black Market Effect
  • The COO Horizon: Challenges and Opportunities in 2026/27
  • AI in Gaming: Shaping the Industry’s First AI Charter
  • World Cup 2026: Betting Predictions and Market Movers

The event will also feature a dedicated Market Disruption track, diving into key developments across major markets including Malta, Germany, Italy, the UK, the Netherlands and Finland, while also spotlighting emerging markets that are quickly gaining industry attention.

On the speaker front, the agenda will feature 200 industry heavyweights, including Alex Tomic (Founder, Alea), Donald Tabone (CISO, Betsson), Francesco Postiglione (CEO, Casumo), Ivan Filletti (CEO, Gaming in Malta), Johan Styren (Co-Founder, Dilanti Media Ltd), Kim Dalli (Head of PR and Communications, MGA), Marco Trucco (CMO, Immense Group), Sam Behar (Marketing Director, Sky Gaming), and Liz Rand (Head of International Tax, Entain), among others. The full list of speakers is available on the event website.

Networking, social events and VIP experiences

Evening networking will once again be a key part of the experience, with three dedicated events available to SBC Summit Malta attendees (excluding Expo+ pass holders).

  • The Opening Party will take place on Tuesday, 28 April (19:00–01:00) at LUMI Restaurant, VOCO Hotel, where attendees can also collect their badges and avoid queues on the main event days.
  • On Wednesday, 29 April (20:00–02:00), the SBC Summit Malta Official Party will be held at Infinity by Hugo.
  • The event will conclude on Thursday, 30 April (20:00–01:00) with the SBC Summit Malta Closing Party and SBC Awards Europe After-Party at Open Waters.

SBC Awards Europe will also return this year, taking place at a new venue, Xara Lodge, on Thursday, 30 April. The ceremony will once again celebrate the very best in European betting and gaming, bringing together industry leaders for an evening of recognition and networking (separate ticket required).

Hosted by football reporter and presenter Alison Bender, the event will see 35 awards presented on the night. The full list of shortlisted companies is available here.

A new addition to this year’s programme, Tuesday will feature three limited-capacity networking events, including a boat party, a golf tournament at the Royal Malta Golf Club, and a padel tournament at IK Padel Village.

C-level operator and affiliate guests will also be invited to exclusive VIP dinners on Wednesday 29 April, hosted at Caviar & Bull (operators) and Sole by Tarragon (affiliates). Meanwhile, on Thursday, 30 April, registered delegates will have the opportunity to take part in a poker tournament sponsored by EvenBet Gaming, with registration available here.

Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and Founder of SBC, said: “We’ve designed SBC Summit Malta to deliver real value, not just through the content, but through the quality of the audience and the opportunities to connect. It’s about bringing the right people together in an environment where business actually gets done. I’d also like to thank our exhibitors, sponsors, speakers and attendees who play a key role in making this event what it is.”

Badge collection will also be available at the InterContinental on Tuesday, 28 April from 12:00 to 17:00.
