See You at SBC Summit Malta! SBC Summit Malta is your chance to learn, network, and take your career to the next level. Whether you’re attending for the first time or you’re a seasoned eventgoer, this is where opportunities happen. With free operator passes, exclusive networking events, and hundreds of industry leaders under one roof, there’s no reason to miss out. So, apply for your pass, plan your schedule, and get ready for business.

Why Every Operator Representative Should Attend SBC Summit Malta (Even If You’ve Never Been to an Industry Event Before)

If you’ve been working in this industry for a while but have never attended an industry event, you’re not getting the full experience of working in iGaming. Period. Conferences are an integral part of this industry—for both professional and fun reasons.

Chances are, you’ve never been sent because your role isn’t considered “client-facing” enough by your management. “There’s nothing there for you, Karen.” No offense to Karens—I just really wanted to use the name.

Well, the truth is, that might have been the case years ago, but industry conferences have become increasingly inclusive, placing a stronger emphasis on a crucial element: EDUCATION. And beyond the conference itself—who said KYC analysts, for example, can’t benefit from networking? Probably just your company’s budget. But hear me out.

This blog post explores why different operator teams—beyond the typical client-facing roles or C-level executives—should absolutely attend SBC Summit Malta.

Duh. It’s Free (If You’re an Operator, That Is)

The easiest answer? Because tickets for operators are complimentary. Of course, you first need to apply, and we need to check if you qualify. But the process is fairly simple and quick—it won’t take you more than three minutes. To qualify, there’s really just one simple rule: you need to be working for an operator. It doesn’t matter what your job title or level is. Just one simple requirement.

For SBC Summit Malta, you can apply HERE.

Our relationship team reviews applications (typically within three days), and if you qualify, your ticket lands in your email inbox (or spam folder if you’re unlucky—so check that too).

Now, what does the FREE pass give you access to? EVERYTHING. Thank the day you chose to work for an operator.

You’ll get access to the show floor, the conference content, the food, the networking parties in the evening—everything. It’s basically like getting a VIP pass to a concert. More on this here.

Are You Based in Malta? Then Why Are We Even Discussing This?!

I get it. When travel is required, your company might be hesitant—even though the actual ticket is free. Travelling to events means airfare, hotel stays, daily allowances, and if you don’t directly generate revenue by closing deals, sending you abroad might simply not be a priority for your company.

However, for those of you based in Malta—and there’s a high likelihood that you are—this concern doesn’t even apply. So, I’d say your excuse for not joining is pretty weak.

Go ahead and tell your boss that you’ll need some time away from your desk on June 10-12 because there’s a lot to learn and plenty of connections to make. And for you, our Malta-based friend, it really is completely free.

Let’s Talk About All Those Educational Opportunities

SBC has always emphasised the educational aspect of events. Granted, people attend to close deals and make a name for themselves in the industry, but those who truly care about making a difference—and making it far—won’t overlook the conference side of things.

Our approach to creating conference programmes is actually quite elaborate. We strive to include a diverse range of tracks that cater to different disciplines and ensure that teams often underrepresented at events are also covered.

For instance, you don’t often see sessions on game design because that’s not traditionally the target audience for most events. But we make a conscious effort to ensure our conference offers value to every single team member—because we believe it matters.

Here’s a sneak preview of some sessions that various departments within operator teams could benefit from.
