SBC Connect Meets: Never Leaving Networking to Chance

SBC Connect Meets: Never Leaving Networking to Chance

At SBC, we know that no two people network in the same way.

Some prefer building connections through shared challenges, while others want to get straight down to business. Some thrive on spontaneous conversations on the show floor, while others arrive with a full schedule of meetings already in place.

It’s a wide spectrum, which is why SBC Summit Americas has reimagined its networking offering through SBC Connections, a collection of eight distinct formats designed to suit every style and approach.

In this blog, we take a closer look at SBC Connect Meets, a networking experience built around structured, pre-planned connections that help turn outreach into real conversations.

SBC Connect Meets: Pre-Planned Networking That Delivers Results

SBC Connect Meets is designed to take the uncertainty out of networking by enabling pre-booked, one-to-one meetings through the SBC Connect app.

Instead of spending valuable time searching the show floor for the right people, you arrive with a calendar full of scheduled meetings, ready to focus on what matters most: building relationships.

SBC Connect App: Your Pre-event Networking Side Kick

Everything starts with the SBC Connect app.

Before the event, you can explore who is attending, start conversations, and most importantly,  lock in meetings at the SBC Connect Lounge. It is designed to help you move from outreach to confirmed meetings quickly and efficiently.

Here is how:

  • Attendee & Exhibitor List: See exactly who is attending before you arrive. Identify key contacts and plan your outreach in advance.
  • Advanced Search: Filter delegates by job title, company, and more to connect with the people that align with your goals.
  • Private Chat: Start conversations instantly and keep them going before, during, and after the event. (Please note: Access to this feature varies by ticket type. Find out more via our dedicated blog here.)
  • Meeting Planner: Schedule meetings in the SBC Connect Lounge for either 15-minute or 30-minute sessions.

SBC Connect Lounge: Securing the Deal

All meetings take place in the SBC Connect Lounge, a dedicated space on the show floor designed solely for SBC Connect Meet connections.

With hosts on hand to manage schedules, assign tables, and guide you to your meeting, the process is simple and seamless, allowing you to stay focused on the important stuff, nailing your meeting.

Where and when can you use the Lounge?

SBC Connect Meets will take place at the SBC Connect Lounge (150), located on the showfloor

  • Wednesday, June 10: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
  • Thursday, June 11: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Who can use SBC Connect Meets:

Important note: To prevent spam, SBC Connect uses a credit system.

Expo and Conference Pass Holders will not receive credits, meaning they cannot message attendees or request meetings (although they can reply to incoming requests).

Networking, Business, Operator, Affiliate, and VIP Pass holders will all receive 200 credits each for messages and meeting requests. Each message or meeting request will use one credit – this will be returned if the message is replied to or the meeting request is accepted. For more info on our credit system, click here.

Take the Work out of Networking

With hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of industry professionals in attendance, finding the right partner can be hard.

SBC Connect Meets takes the work out of event networking, allowing you to attend the event with meetings already secured.

The SBC Connect app will go live for registered attendees on May 5. Download today on iOS and Android.
