SBC’s flagship event, SBC Summit, is only a few weeks away from opening its doors to 25,000 industry professionals eager to gain the latest insights, enhance their strategies, and hear about emerging trends from leading voices in the industry.
Scheduled for September 24-26 at the Feira Internacional de Lisboa, the event will feature three distinct zones: the Sports Betting Zone, Casino & iGaming Zone, and Player Protection Zone. Additionally, it will include the Media Headquarters and three new dedicated summits: Affiliate Leaders, Payment Expert & ESI Lisbon.

To aid delegates in familiarising themselves with the speaker profiles set to feature across the event, we have provided an in-depth look at some of the leading voices in the industry who will be appearing at SBC Summit.
Neal Menashe: CEO, Super Group
As the CEO of Super Group, Neal Menashe spearheads the development and execution of the company’s strategy and growth initiatives. With over two decades of experience in the online gaming industry, Menashe has played a significant role in shaping its landscape.
In 2001, he co-founded Win Technologies, a pioneering firm in online marketing support, CRM, and technological solutions, which was acquired by the Betway Group in 2011.
Throughout his extensive career, Menashe has undertaken nearly every role within the business, gaining a profound understanding of both products and customers.
Menashe will feature on the session titled ‘Europe Leaders Panel‘ on Wednesday, 25th September, the second core day of the event. The panel, located on the ‘Super Stage‘, will offer insights into how operators can re-organise, re-orient, and collaborate with regulators, to meet evolving compliance demands across multiple markets simultaneously.
Per Widerström: CEO, Evoke plc
Per Widerström was appointed as Evoke’s Chief Executive Officer and joined the Board on October 16, 2023.
He brings over 17 years of experience in the online gaming industry, having most recently served as CEO of Fortuna Entertainment Group, a leading omni-channel betting and gaming company in Central and Eastern Europe, from 2014 to 2022.
Before his tenure at Fortuna, Widerström held several senior positions in prominent online gaming companies starting in 2006. These roles included positions such as Managing Director of Gala Interactive at Gala Coral Group Plc, Chief Operating Officer of PartyGaming plc, and Chief Integration Officer at Bwin, Party Digital Entertainment Plc, and group CEO and Chair of the Board at Expekt.com.
Widerström will be featured in the session titled ‘UK Leaders Panel‘ on Wednesday, 25th September. This panel, set on the ‘Super Stage’, will explore changes to the UK’s market driven by international expansion, the potential ramifications of the upcoming white paper, trends in safer gambling regulation, and strategies for continued growth.
Nils Andén: CEO, Kindred Group
Nils Andén joined Kindred as Chief Commercial Officer (Region 2) in 2020. He assumed the role of Interim CEO on May 17, 2023, and became the permanent CEO in February 2024.
Previously, Andén served as Director of Digital Marketing at GVC Group (now Entain), where he contributed to the acquisition of Ladbrokes Coral, the partnership with MGM Resorts, and the launch of online sports betting in the US.
Andén also brings a wealth of experience from outside the industry. Since joining the Board of EasyPark Group in 2018, the company has achieved an annual revenue growth of 45%, with the electric vehicle charging segment experiencing a 190% increase in transactions in 2022 alone.
Andén will be featured in the session titled ‘UK Leaders Panel‘ on Wednesday, 25th September. Alexis Murphy: CEO, betFIRST
Alexis Murphy is the CEO of betFIRST, a leading Belgian sports betting operator. He brings extensive experience in the betting industry, having held senior roles such as Managing Director and Digital Director at Ladbrokes Belgium.
Beyond the industry, Murphy has also held influential positions at Dermot Desmond’s private equity firm IIU and Tote Ireland.
Murphy began his career in corporate finance with Goodbody Stockbrokers. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics from Trinity College, Dublin, which he completed between 1996 and 2000.
Murphy will be appearing in the session titled ‘Strategy Focus on Retail Sportsbooks in 2025’ on Wednesday, 25th September. This panel, part of the ‘Sports Betting’ track, will explore how retail establishments are adapting their strategies to meet the evolving demands of on-site customers. Discussions will also cover the role of integrated technology and personalised experiences in enhancing the appeal of physical bookmakers and sportsbooks within brick-and-mortar casinos.
Dr. Damir Böhm: Chief Executive Officer, TipwinT
Dr. Damir Böhm is an accomplished professional with a diverse background spanning the fields of legal practice, communications, and the gaming industry. Since January 2023, he has been serving as the CEO of Tipwin, overseeing the company’s operations across multiple European locations including Bielefeld, Köln, Zagreb, and Malta. His role involves managing strategic communications, compliance, and business processes within the sports betting and online gaming sectors.
In addition to his current role, Dr. Böhm is the owner of Dr. Damir Böhm GmbH, where he focuses on new business development, real estate, and start-ups. He also operates Böhm&Hilbert as a freelance consultant, specialising in anti-money laundering and administrative law.
Böhm will feature on the panel titled ‘Strategy Focus on Retail Sportsbooks in 2025’ on Wednesday, 25th September. Silvia Hoppe: CMO, Wunderino
Silvia Hoppe, based in Malta, is currently the Group CMO at Wunderino Group. She brings extensive experience from her previous roles at Globus Media Ltd., and GAMOMAT Development GmbH.
As an entrepreneur and executive, Silvia has over 15 years of experience in financial services and 14 years in the online gaming industry. She specialises in developing start-ups and guiding them to profitability and optimised performance. Silvia has also developed affiliate software blueprints and managed in-house development and integration, overseeing front-end development and full-stack integration stakeholders.
In addition to her executive roles, Silvia has reported to boards and shareholders and served as a partner at an M&A advisory firm. She has an extensive network of gaming C-level executives, business owners, investors, affiliates, and affiliate networks.
Hoppe will be speaking in the session titled ‘CMO Panel: iGaming Marketing Strategy’. Featured as part of the ‘Global Leadership’ conference track, the panel will provide insights into how marketing teams can establish focused and foolproof strategies that enhance brand visibility whilst also improving customer experience.
Paris Anatolitis: Group CEO, Moja Group
In September 2022, Anatolitis joined Moja Group, a consultancy service provider for Africa, the Middle East & other regions. Moja Group has established joint ventures with multiple mobile network operators, national lotteries, gaming commissions, media companies, and governing entities across the continent.
Anatolitis joined Moja Group after seven thoroughly successful years at Entain, where he most recently served as Group Commercial Director. During his tenure at Entain, Anatolitis was responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive growth in the casino segment.
Anatolitis will be engaging in the fireside chat titled ‘“Getting Geo-Specific in Africa: A New Market with Old Tech’, set to take place on the ‘Super Stage’ on Tuesday, 24th September. The fireside chat will focus on the burgeoning African market and how leading operator Mojabet, has successfully acquired and retained players through technology, an acute understanding of market dynamics, developing and implementing solutions for low-bandwidth regions and innovative acquisition strategies.
Livia Troise: CEO, Betmais
Starting with a foundation in project planning and execution, Livia Troise began her professional journey at the Spanish insurer MAPFRE where Troise discovered a passion for numbers. A significant portion of her professional journey was dedicated to account management and commercial roles, which enhanced her ability to address customer needs.
Troise joined Betmais in 2020 before assuming the role of CEO at Betmais in 2021. During this time, Troise has developed a keen interest in data analysis and technology, both of which are integral to her work. Troise excels at navigating the daily challenges of anticipating industry changes, fostering innovative thinking, and pursuing advancements within the iGaming sector. She leads a dynamic and collaborative team, combining an analytical approach with a relentless drive for impactful results.
Troise will be providing invaluable insights during the session titled ‘Boom in Brazil: reporting from South America’s formerly sleeping giant’, on Wednesday, 25th September, as part of the ‘Global Leadership’ track. During the panel, Troise, alongside other industry experts, will reflect on the first six months of regulated Brazil, discussing the successes, failures, and future strategies for capturing a football-obsessed territory with unique cultural considerations.
Tom Bowry: Chief Strategy Officer, Flutter Entertainment
With over a decade of experience in corporate development and strategic management within the gaming industry, Tom Bowry currently serves as Chief Strategy Officer, International at Flutter Entertainment Plc. In this role, which he has held since September 2020, Bowry is responsible for driving growth opportunities for Flutter’s international operations outside of the UK, Australia, and the US, including overseeing M&A, market access, and strategic partnerships.
Before his current position, Bowry was the Group Director of Corporate Development at Flutter from May 2017 to August 2020, where he led notable M&A transactions such as the acquisition of Junglee Games, the merger of Flutter with The Stars Group, and the creation of the largest online gaming business in the US through the FanDuel merger. His earlier roles included Vice President at Global Leisure Partners, where he gained significant expertise in the gaming and leisure sectors, and Corporate Development Executive at Betfair. He also served as an M&A/Debt Advisory Analyst at Investec Bank plc.
Bowry will be appearing on the session titled ‘Europe Leaders Panel‘ on Wednesday, 25th September. Francesco Postiglione: CEO, Casumo Holdings Ltd
Francesco Postiglione is a distinguished international manager with a proven track record in the digital and retail gaming industry. With over two decades of experience, he has held CEO positions at notable companies such as Hattrick-PSK and Napoleon Sports & Casino before being appointed CEO of Casumo in early 2023. His career is marked by a strong ability to drive sales and profits through effective omnichannel strategies, tailored marketing initiatives, and advanced technology platforms.
Postiglione began his career as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company, working on strategic projects for major clients like Lavazza, Heineken, and Coca-Cola. He transitioned to Opera Private Equity in 2003, handling acquisitions and serving on the board of AG Ferrari Foods. In 2007, he founded Giocacomodo.it, one of Italy’s first online gaming startups, and later led Neomobile Gaming SpA, creating Italy’s first mobile-only casino operator. Postiglione’s subsequent roles at Betclic Everest Group, Napoleon Sports & Casino, and Hattrick-PSK further established his expertise. His current role as CEO of Casumo continues to leverage his extensive experience and leadership skills in the online gambling sector.
Postiglione will be speaking on the panel titled ‘Omnichannel Strategy for Enhanced Customer Experience’ on Tuesday, 24th September, as part of the ‘Casino & iGaming’ track. The panel will explore how businesses can leverage the latest technology to seamlessly integrate digital and physical verticals. Additionally, the panel will examine how lessons from online gaming can enhance land-based experiences and evaluate whether true omnichannel implementation can drive engagement and meet modern consumer expectations.
Corey Plummer: Chairman & CEO, Olympic Entertainment Group
Corey Plummer serves as Chairman and CEO of Olympic Entertainment Group and OlyBet Group, leading prominent operators of casino and leisure entertainment across eight Eurozone markets—Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Croatia, Italy, Malta, Serbia, and Slovakia. With over 160 casino and hospitality locations, both brands partner with esteemed global names such as Hilton, Grand Hotel Kempinski, Radisson Blu, and Intercontinental. OlyBet also boasts high-profile sports partnerships, including the NBA, NHL, ACF Fiorentina, and Real Betis, with Luka Modric as a brand ambassador in the Balkan region.
Before joining Olympic Entertainment Group, Plummer founded and led North Sea Gaming, a sector-focused advisory firm that collaborated with major global private equity firms like CVC Capital Partners and Advent International. With over 20 years of senior leadership experience in gaming and hospitality, Corey has worked with top operators such as Harrah’s Entertainment, Caesars, Skycity Entertainment, and Rush Street Gaming. He has directed large-scale developments and operations globally, spanning the Americas, Europe, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand, and has served on advisory boards for leading manufacturers including Aristocrat, Bally, IGT Australia, and Konami Gaming.
Plummer will feature on the panel titled ‘Streaming’s Future: Surviving Regulation, Tech Challenges, and Social Trends’, set to take place on Thursday, 26th September, the final day of the conference. The panel, which is part of the ‘Affiliate Leaders’ track, will explore the strategies that could enable streaming to thrive as a mainstay of gaming entertainment. Additionally, the panel will cover the impact of regulatory constraints, advances in technology, and changing audience appetites on the streaming landscape.
Jesper Søgaard: CEO & Co-founder, Better Collective
Jesper Søgaard holds an M.Sc. in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen. He co-founded Better Collective with Christian Kirk Rasmussen in 2004 and was appointed CEO of the company in April 2004. In this role, Søgaard is responsible for implementing plans and policies, enhancing the company’s financial strength, supporting digital business transformation, and setting future strategies.
Throughout his career, Søgaard has gained extensive experience in online advertising, affiliate and online marketing, digital marketing, start-ups, conversion optimisation, web analytics, PPC, social media marketing, content management, landing page optimisation, and SEO. He is currently involved in several companies, including Organic Basics and Leadfamly, and has previously been associated with Astralis, Banking Circle, RotoQL, You Lend, and Sun Maker.
Søgaard will be speaking on the Affiliate Leaders Panel ‘A Five-Year Outlook on the Future of Affiliation’ as part of the Affiliate Leaders track, on Wednesday, 25th September. The panel will explore the evolving landscape of affiliate marketing in the next five years, focusing on technological advancements, regulatory shifts, and the changing dynamics between operators and affiliates.
Manuel Stan: CEO, Catena Media
Manuel Stan, with over 20 years of experience in the gambling industry, joined Catena Media as CEO on July 1, 2024. Bringing extensive expertise in marketing, sales, and operations, Stan oversees Catena Media’s North American and global market operations from Las Vegas.
Prior to this role, Stan was the SVP & GM of North America at Kindred Group, where he played a pivotal role in several key initiatives. He was instrumental in securing Kindred’s partnership with the National Football League (NFL), a major element of Unibet’s strategy in Pennsylvania. Under his leadership, Kindred also launched themed games related to NFL teams and made a significant entry into the Ontario market on day one of its regulation.
Additionally, Stan spearheaded Unibet’s first US motorsports partnership with NASCAR. His tenure at Kindred Group spanned 17 years, including roles as Marketing Campaign Manager, Head of Marketing in Central and Eastern Europe, Head of Marketing in Emerging Markets, and Marketing Director.
Stan will feature on the Affiliate Leaders Panel ‘A Five-Year Outlook on the Future of Affiliation’ as part of the Affiliate Leaders track on Wednesday, 25th September. The panel will explore the evolving landscape of affiliate marketing in the next five years, focusing on technological advancements, regulatory shifts, and the changing dynamics between operators and affiliates.
Aron Schwarzkopf: CEO, Kushki Pagos
Aron Schwarzkopf is Co-Founder and CEO of Kushki, a leading fintech company that specialises in digital payment solutions across Latin America. Prior to his role at Kushki, he founded and served as CEO of Leaf, a financial technology firm acquired by Heartland Payment Systems.
Recognised for his impact on the global business community, Schwarzkopf was named ‘Young Global Leader’ by the World Economic Forum. He is actively involved in mentorship and is an angel investor to Techstars, and the New York and MIT Angels, reflecting his dedication to nurturing emerging entrepreneurial talent. His diverse educational background includes studies at Singularity University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Babson College.
Schwarzkopf will be a featured speaker during the Leaders Summit, the most exclusive C-level gathering in the gaming industry, taking place in the luxury setting of the Myriad by Sana 5-star luxury hotel.
