With only a few weeks to go until SBC Summit Barcelona takes place at Fira Barcelona Montjuïc, we have been catching up with our event sponsors to find out more about their plans for the event, and what they will be showcasing.

What are you looking forward to at the SBC Summit Barcelona?
Firstly, I am mostly looking forward to having a proper conference at the venue since the pandemic hit. Online and digital conferences did the job and I believe all of them made their utmost effort in order to create the perfect atmosphere and be as close as possible to the physical ones but nothing beats the real thing.
What are you promoting at SBC Summit Barcelona?
Our prime and flagship product is of course our own fully managed sportsbook which comes in different layouts and has massive room for flexibility in terms of front end customisation depending on the market being targeted by the operator. But apart from this we are also looking forward to promoting our own Betby.Games.
What industry innovation will capture the most attention in 2021?
Well, technology is always evolving and is being done at a super fast pace. We can’t think of the gambling industry as it being just a gambling industry. Betting and gaming are a mix of IT together with innovation and AI so I would say the ones who manage to solve the players’ or operator’s obstacles with the best solutions are the ones that will be most disruptive in the industry.
Which operator has impressed you the most in 2020/2021?
Having worked for over 12 years in a sportsbook, it has be bet365. They are the ones who always lead the industry coming up with innovative bets and crushing any barriers in sports betting.
What partnership has stood out in the past 12 months?
Without any doubt the acquisition of Big Time Gaming by Evolution. Seeing Evolution had just acquired Netent the previous year and to then go on and add BTG to their portfolio shows their assertion of strengthening their position in the industry
Which parts of the conference agenda have caught your eye?
There will be so many to choose from but I’m very much looking forward to the Innovation in Sports Betting and Sports Betting Product Innovation which is a good opportunity for both myself and us at BETBY to listen to other industry professionals.
