Evoplay Entertainment: Innovation is always on our agenda

As we gear up for the SBC Summit Barcelona – Digital, the year’s biggest digital event in the calendar, we’ve been sitting down with our event sponsors to get the low down on what they’re most excited about.

Evoplay Entertainment’s Chief Business Development Officer Vladimir Malakchi will be planting the Evoplay Entertainment flag at SBC Summit Barcelona – Digital as the company plans to promote their team, technology and solutions.

What are you looking forward to at the SBC Summit Barcelona – Digital?

We’re at an unprecedented time for the industry – so the need to network with partners has never been more important. We’ll be unpacking our fantastic range of games at the event – and showing operators how we can help drive revenue with the latest in tech. 

Of course, there’s no substitute for face to face, but SBC has done a brilliant job at giving us the next best thing. I’m very excited to see the growing number of virtual networking events going live across the industry, and I’m sure the SBC Digital Summit Barcelona will prove to be another great opportunity to catch up with the industry’s brightest minds and talk business. 

What would be your biggest bit of advice for betting and gaming businesses trying to mitigate the impact of COVID-19?

Right now, it’s all about flexibility. We’re not out of the woods yet when it comes to COVID, and the industry needs to be looking at pandemic-proofing what they offer. That means having a ready-made armory of action-packed games to keep sports fans entertained if we see more cancellations in sport. 

Engagement and retention are also essential right now, and with an economic downturn likely on the horizon, it’s going to be all about low-stakes, high entertainment games that keep players there for the enjoyment of playing. Operators looking to diversify their portfolio would do well to take note. 

What are you promoting at SBC Summit Barcelona – Digital?

We’ll be planting our flag at the summit as a supplier who can really make a difference. We’ve achieved incredible results over the past 12 months because our games really stand out for the new generation of player.

Our team is looking forward to showcasing why we’ve become a real player-favorite across online gaming communities, especially when it comes to streamers. With the flawless design, real creativity, and the maths to back it up – we’ve got something to keep everybody entertained in our 100+ kitbag of slots, table, and instant games. 

I’m also really looking forward to talking about our tech. Our slots boast an image resolution quality far higher than average, yet occupy around 10 times less storage space than similar products. Slow loading times, cumbersome technical specifications and needlessly complex UIs are not a recipe for success – and we’ve got some of the best solutions around.

What industry innovation will capture the most attention in 2020?

It may not be too innovative as it’s already a tried and tested channel, but from the casino side, I see streaming influencers continuing to take up more and more media space. Whether we like it or not, the lockdown has created a new normal that the industry needs to adapt to. 

I believe this holds plenty of opportunities, and those who really start to deploy innovative and bold marketing strategies to really take ownership of this space are going to see a windfall in players coming through as their games get introduced to thousands of followers. 

Which operator has impressed you the most in 2020?

The biggest thing that has impressed this year has been how the market has regulated itself. We’re coming out of the other side of lockdown with a spotless reputation as an industry – and that is down to how well operators have presented themselves. 

I really cannot congratulate everyone enough – we’ve really come together in the past six months and deployed strategies that were not only responsible and fair – but also provided an even playing field for the industry to adapt. 

What partnership has stood out in the past 12 months?

Again, I’ll be diplomatic and avoid mentioning anyone in particular! Europe’s been our main focus so far this year and we’ve really strengthened our presence across Europe. 

All of us at Evoplay Entertainment have really enjoyed getting to know all our new partners and working alongside them – I’m incredibly proud as to how much our team has gone above and beyond in delivery for our clients, and we can’t wait to keep the momentum going for the next 12 months ahead. 

Which parts of the conference agenda have caught your eye?

The diversity of topics on offer is fantastic, there really is something for everybody! Innovation is always on our agenda here at Evoplay Entertainment, so I’ll be attending as many events as I can on all things tech. On that note, do feel free to stop by our panel on ‘Innovation in Slots’ hosted by Alex Tomic, which I’m sure will prove to be a very productive discussion!

CIS & the Balkans panels are also going to be very exciting, with Ukraine adding itself to the list of soon-to-regulate jurisdictions – the country’s 40 million population is going to offer plenty of potentials.
