Kalamba Games: When it comes to slots, all eyes are on retention

There’s only a week to go until CasinoBeats Malta Digital, and SBC is ramping up preparations for the event by catching up with our sponsors.

Tamas Kusztos, Head of Sales and Account Management at Kalamba Games, highlighted that retention has been key for the slots sector in 2020 – especially when it comes to the strict bonusing rules for regulated markets.

Ahead of the event, he is most looking forward to the networking opportunities that CasinoBeats Malta Digital has to offer, and the conference sessions which look at working in Malta.

What are you looking forward to at CasinoBeats Malta Digital 2020?

It is a great opportunity to meet like-minded industry professionals and discuss the future of igaming and of course have some fun.

What would be your biggest bit of advice for betting and gaming businesses trying to mitigate the impact of COVID-19?

We have learnt that Working from Home can be very productive so my advice would be to find a great balance between going to the office to make sure the social interaction with colleagues is there but have flexibility if people want to work from home. Something that Kalamba has managed to do very effectively so far.

What are you promoting at CasinoBeats Malta Digital?

Kalamba Games in general, but mostly the great Retention and Monetisation value that our unique functionalities cater for.

What industry innovation will capture the most attention in 2020?

In general there is a lot of amazing innovation going on in Live Casino particularly blending it with RNG style games. When it comes to slots, all eyes are on retention because of the strict bonusing rules in some of the important regulated markets.

Which operator has impressed you the most in 2020?

The quick growth and the great UX of Wildz Casino is one that stands out I think.

What partnership has stood out in the past 12 months?

The acquisition of GiG b2c brands by Betsson was quite an interesting one, not to mention NetEnt buying Red Tiger.

Which parts of the conference agenda have caught your eye?

The Inside Slots & Working in Malta.
