Play’n GO is sponsoring Betting on Sports 2018, the 3rd edition of the largest international sports and betting trade conference at Olympia London.
Ahead of the 18-21 September event, we asked Adam Noble, the firm’s Sales and Business Development Manager, about providing the casino platform for Tipsport, and allowing the operator to unlock the potential of its existing client base.
SBC: What are you looking forward to at Betting on Sports?
AN: With so many exhibitors, speakers and delegates in attendance, it’s a great chance to interact with many significant people in the industry and get some great insights for the year ahead. I’m really looking forward to seeing several key speakers to hear their perspectives on some of the hot topics for now and the foreseeable future.
SBC: You recently entered a deal with Tipsport to provide their casino platform, how did this come about? How is it working so far?
AN: Very well! Tipsport were looking for a unique solution, the kind of solution that an out of the box product could not deliver, and we were one of several contenders in a competitive tender process. We were preferred because we were able to propose the solution best suited to Tipsport’s requirements to provide a unique, almost bespoke, casino platform solution and the certification and provision of the first batch of games for the Czech market.
We went live in November last year and to date we’ve seen activity grow month on month, in fact it’s significantly higher than we’d anticipated, so we’re pleased to say the platform solution we provided is working tremendously well and of course the games are performing well too.
SBC: How has your solution benefited Tipsport and the way they do business?
AN: There are several benefits, particularly the benefits to how they actually “do business” operationally, and to the business financially.
Operationally, the Play’n GO Platform Services allowed them to add the casino vertical to their operations, while fundamentally utilising their current systems. As Tipsport is a mature business with well-established processes, providing a solution that allowed them to continue to operate effectively within their existing systems removed a possible barrier to entry and allowed them to unlock the potential in their existing client base.
From a financial perspective we were able to provide a solution that has allowed Tipsport to leverage their existing market share in Sportsbook and quickly establish themselves as a formidable online casino operator adding an additional revenue channel to their operation.
You can get a clearer picture of this from Tipsport themselves via the case study on our site.
SBC: What are your plans in the Sportsbook market?
AN: Coming off the success of our partnership with Tipsport, we see a chance to partner with Sportsbook operators in other markets to unlock the potential in their existing customer base by adding a casino vertical.
We’re also looking at the possibility of integrating Sportsbook products to our Platform, this would provide solutions for new operators launching a Sportsbook, with the added benefit of being able to turn on casino when the timing is right.
SBC: Which sports betting operator has impressed you the most in 2018?
AN: Gee, that’s a tough question! I’ll have to take the politicians answer here and say, I think there are several operators doing some great things in the market today. It’s really impressive to see the innovation in their products and approach, which is really needed in such a competitive industry.
